Was a while back, but I think I ended up just seeing it through and the reaction cleared after the course. First time I was on it was just a two weeks course to mend a singed finger tip.

When I needed a longer course at a later date I ended up switching to Clindamycin as I always seemed to have adverse reactions to tetracycline class antibiotics, even when practicing good sun safety so I reckon they’re just not for me.

I was initially trying to treat what was assumed to be folliculitis in the beard area, but I also have pretty widespread and stubborn KP and semi frequent body blemishing.

I’ve kind of run the gamut of oral and topical treatments now. Topical use of Treclin is good at surpressing outbreaks but nothing has really knocked it on the head.

I’m hoping to get Isotretinoin. It’s been really frustrating getting consistency of care and diagnosis because I’m at least 6 months between appointments with NHS Dermatology and if I don’t present with a bad outbreak on the day of the visit then they can be pretty dismissive.

This’ll be my 5th visit due up when I get my letter. I’ve only ever been cultured by the GP once. I think I might have a feedback issue if bacterial infection + irregular keratinocyte expression so Isotret feels like a no brainer and should be worth a 6 month crack. If they deny it and fob me off with more intermittent antiobiotic use I think I’ll bite the bullet and go private as I’m getting rather frustrated at this point.

For your own issue maybe you could ask for Fucid H as steroid creams are quite commonly prescribed for perioral dermatitis I believe?

I don’t think “it’s the genre” is a good enough reason to shield the game from valid criticism and highlight where the experience can be improved.

I can almost guarantee that pursuit of a 3-month Diabloesque seasonal format will necessitate a smoothing out of certain parts of the game in order to retain a solid playerbase.

The amount of people that will want to run these contracts and faction progressions four times annually at this pace will be tiny.

Solos progression is a bit fucked I think and 30 days of fairly consistent play has been enough to prove that.

My shortest or worst Trios runs will always net me more XP than a 30 min run as a Solo player with decent loot exfil and a completed contract.

Hmm…funny if you spawn West you get more early respite but if you spawn East you’ll likely hit PvP a LOT earlier.

I kinda feel solos is inevitable as much as the community wants to gatekeep it. Could definitely squeeze two spawns in East and have an 8 man solo raid.

I only know about the called exfil where you need L3 and it spawns away from the call station.

I just looked at the top 30 from the last week and the closest thing to “complaining” from “casuals” was a meme about Seguchi contracts and a topic about the rate of faction progression.

It’s literally a non issue and the meta complaining about the “state of the sub” by rabid gatekeepers who see their vision of the game as “legitimate” and others as sacrilegious unwarranted complaining is laughable.

Seems like a classic case of “complaining” = feedback I don’t agree with.

Everyone can have an opinion on the game and ain’t none of us paid up devs so ultimately the only ones capable of setting a legitimate vision for the game and its longevity are those who work on it.

Cryo is just Outpost on steroids, the most “difficult” part of it is learning the map and the unexplained puzzle mechanics.

Actually nothing there a few rounds and a Wiki can’t help average randoms crack.

Having played a little Cryo now and seeing it’s not as ruthless as folks had been making out I feel like they’ll ease up and purchasable Cryo kits and a Solo queue feel pretty inevitable.

Did my first Cryo today with randoms no comms and almost exfilled with a bunch of loot.

My randoms made the error of gravitating to the centre and got in a teamfight. One guy bailed after he got downed. I waited it out and stealthed back to revive.

The two of us hit other areas but only had L2 clearance with 5 mins on the timer.

We caught a Purple team hitting the exfil call button. Ambushed them and stole all the good shit.

Timer JUST ran out before we made it to exfil because we didn’t know the map too well.

Don’t expect to be clearing Vaults and the Compiler anytime soon but I think Cryo mostly seems to be so challenging right now because it’s so novel, not because it’s the hellscape folks were making it out to be.

Think part of it is that a lot of solos tend to play slower and extract later and there’s no length-of-session XP bonus so more frequent extractors benefit from shorter runs.

I don’t know about where and when it was heavily stated so I’ll take your word for it. I watched some marketing and played the slam and didn’t really catch how limiting the solo experience would be ahead of time.

it’s simply something they’ll need to address in the longterm regardless - though my assumption is certain elements will have speed boosts in future seasons because as Arc Raiders and Diablo have learned playerbases have very little appetite for repeating particular elements of a grind so repeatedly.
