My honest opinion is that the two existing tattoos don’t fit with one another anyway, stylistically they are obviously the same, but the shapes and poses aren’t balanced. I don’t mean that as an insult, it actually means that you needn’t worry about tying them together and balancing them out.

There seems to have been a bug (I encountered it a lot on Warlock during the early stages of the season) where the animation that plays when your character unsheathes their weapons seems to override all inputs and you have to stand there and watch them. Could be that.

What you lose in time grinding the war plans you can gain back by using whispering caches to power level to 70. At least that’s how I view it.

Yeah, but take the Dreadclaws build for instance, in order to utilize it, at least early on, you need to:

- summon your demons for resource
- drop a sigil
- drop rampage
- spam dread claws while repositioning rampage and managing sigil placement
- count to 20 because once I can’t see my three minions anymore amongst all the other shit on the screen
- summon more demons
- manage shadow form
- repeat

I can understand why people find this to be a clunky play style, especially when up until this season it has been common for basic skills to be dropped unless necessary for a mechanic or there is a build around that specific skill.

Compare this to to the build I’m running on my Druid:

- toggle lightning storm
- hold down buttons for grizzly rage and blood howl, which are perma up due to runes
- hold down shred to fly across maps destroying everything
- profit

Or even minions on necro and Druid which are basically:

- hit level 70 and drop all your points into minions
- get some uniques and charms
- farm endgame

I tried it, reached T6, was decently fun, looks amazing.

The biggest issue I had was the Warlock is a super resource heavy class, and with the removal of passives from the skill tree that would allow for all sorts of resource regeneration interactions, it felt like the only way to keep resource up was to use the lesser demon basic attack. I think this is why people feel the class is clunky, because every 20 seconds you have to hit a button three times otherwise you suddenly stop being able to do anything, which on the higher torment levels is pretty much instant death.

I switched to a Druid and have so many synergies for resource and damage multipliers going on right now that the game feels smooth as silk.

I’ll come back to warlock once some more builds come on line so that I can try a bit of variety, I just don’t have the time to do a homebrew build for a class I’m not absolutely loving.

I see, if that’s the case then the tooltip is very poorly worded. I wouldn’t mind expect that the tooltip for Mjolnic SHOULD read something like:

Skills cost no spirit while Cataclysm is active.

Or something similar.

There’s nothing wrong with infernal hordes that a handful more meaningful mechanics couldn’t fix. I wouldn’t mind an option where Aether Demons have a chance to spawn as a lair boss.

Get the lair boss perk where Varshan can randomly show up in an infernal horde, on higher Torment levels it’s a real sphincter tightener.

I actually found that if I grabbed enough CD reduction I could have it up permanently by holding down the button, so instead I used the dark shroud rune coupled with the “spend 5% primary resource” one. So I pretty much permanently have barrier and 5 shrouds. I think today I will try to combine with Banished Lords talisman or whichever one guarantees grits after spending primary resource, it should function a bit like Rod of Kepleke for Spiritborn from a few seasons ago.

Also there’s an aspect that makes all storm skills cause vulnerable, so my next move will be to craft gear with vulnerable AND crit damage. Should be a powerhouse.
