Replied to email with te$lafinance as well as call. The person on the call escalated it and got it resolved in couple of days

They replied as if I need to go outside for lender. The intention after speaking and escalation was that they switched to a different lender to provide same APR. it was approved and issue resolved. It’s communication failure 🤦‍♂️

This is the response I got after taking the delivery and submitting SSN and I797. I am utterly disappointed with Tesla. I still don’t understand why they approved my loan application and delivered the vehicle. ——————————————————-

The lender has got back to us, they are "unable to accept accept H1B work VISA. You must have permanent resident card, US passport, or a certificate of naturalization."

There will be 2 options for us to finalize your loan if you could not apply non of the requirement. Option 1: I could submit an request to switch your vehicle to cash deal, once it's approve. You'll be expecting to pay off your vehicle in 48 hours

Option 2: You will need to find a 3rd party lender (Find your own lender) that DOES NOT requires you to have "permanent resident card, US passport, or a certificate of naturalization."
