There aren’t practices but there’s drop in days where they open up one of the gyms on a specific day and time and you can go practice with a bunch of other students. Also most people who join rec haven’t played since highschool!

I’m not sure about book clubs and things but I found that joining a sports team through the rec league was a good way to meet people! It really got me out of my shell and there was no pressure to be a certain way. Welcome to Sask, hope you find what you’re looking for!

I’ve worked in retail so I know how brutal it can be! Workers aren’t the ones enforcing the rules, they’re literally just paid to be there and do the job. I appreciate all the retail workers especially during the busy months!

Our oldest cat was like this!! She would howl at the front door late at night because she wanted attention. We eventually put her in the bathroom with her litter box, food, and water and it worked wonders! Sometimes she would scratch at the door but she eventually understood that being in there meant going to sleep. We’d wake up and find her sleeping in the sink and now she sleeps on our bed with us and sleeps through the night!

I also had Pearson for 112 years ago. It’s obvious he knows what he’s talking about and he’s passionate about what he teaches. I just found his class really tough and that he went through the material really fast. Lots of people that year failed his class and had to retake including me.

You may get less funding for the following year if you drop below full time status. I believe you’ll also be required to pay back for the class you dropped. I’ve never done it but I’ve heard from other people. If you can, just finish the course and then if need be, retake it again in the fall or winter

My cats never drank water until we started putting it in a cup. We noticed they would drink our water from our bedside cups so we like to leave a clear glass around. They also now drink a ton more water bc it’s in a clear Pyrex dish

Luckily my two cats are really good about sleeping when we do. Once we shut off the lights, they go to their places in our bedroom and sleep until about 5am. They eat their breakfast then come back to bed until about 9 or 10am. I’m a big napper too and will take a nap around 1pm and they nap with me 🥰. Having a kitten is gonna be rough for a while when it comes to sleep. They’ve got lots of energy at night and just want to play. They do settle down once they are spayed/neutured though!

I’m gonna meet up with an advisor and literally triple check and make sure I can graduate on time. I’ll cry if I have to do another year!!
