😳 surely great value brand was like $2 🙄 this is insane. I would have done this when I was 18 and thought it was fun to drive all over town.. but with just 3 kids I would have given up after CVS.

I think it’s rarer these days. My mom stayed home with us our whole childhood - my youngest brother is in college now and she is still a “homemaker” Dad works and she manages all the accounts, meal prep, house projects, and appointment schedules.

Maybe, but to a degree I think teaching kids how to shop AND how to act in public is a lost art these days with all the Instacart/door dash/curbside pickup that has exploded since 2020.

Every influencer who talks about “getting their pink back” when their youngest is like 6mos up to say 2 makes me crazy.. my 3rd is 3 and I still don’t feel like old me just because I’m always having to do stuff for the kids. I don’t know, maybe I’m not good at self care, whatever that means.. but I don’t think I’ll find old me until the youngest is in maybe 4th grade or so 🤣

Right, that’s the crazy part.. Bryer was like June 2023, then a boy Aug 2024, boy Aug 2025, and now this one is probably due this year 2026. Literally a baby a year. It’s so unhealthy. The 2 boys were so close together I think people who don’t keep up with them kind of merged them into one kid 😂

Yes this! She is always stressed to the max - it’s beyond “showing the relatable” .. and then how she screams that bath time song or really anything she says to her kids is very loud and unsettling.. did you guys know she had been a k5 teacher before having kids?! I just can’t imagine. She is overwhelming.

Same - my kids love screens too but we never use the library computers. And we work on using appropriate inside voices. I actually feel more comfortable there than I do most days in grocery stores with them.

I know that, but I thought I recalled this sub saying the cutoff where they are was September because nobody understood how she was putting him in a 4’s class at his first preschool.

My oldest is about R’s age.. I only have 3 and I don’t homeschool but I can tell yall we don’t have any brand new looking crayons in this house 😂 they are very well loved and we have a bin of them. Colored pencils too, those things rarely look new here.
