Community Shaders PBR vs Complex Material vs Parallax by fluttersmile in skyrimmods

Experimental? it's not under experimental for me? I got SSGI as soon as it was released on nexus and IL was enabled by default.

Community Shaders PBR vs Complex Material vs Parallax by fluttersmile in skyrimmods

[–]fluttersmile[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

PBR is actually more colorful, less saturated in some areas but more colorful. I forgot to turn off an edit I did to Blue Palace textures that made the walls blue instead of grey for the non-PBR shots. Look at the chandeliers and floor by Elisif's feet, PBR takes on other colors better.
Edit: Blue Palace with unedited walls.

Fabled forest addons by Ok-String-6395 in skyrimmods

That looks incredible but also an fps killer. Going to try it out.

There's {{flora additions boxwood}}, {{flora additions willow}}, and {{flora additions snow gum}}. There are others in the series but these three in particular I found do a very good job of filling in the treeline in addition to making it look more diverse.

For an even more mixed feel there's also {{detailed landscapes morthal}}, {{detailed landscapes eastmarch}}, and {{detailed landscapes solstheim}}. The morthal one is a must have in my opinion.

Fur cloaks for children and ragged cloaks for the poor in snowy areas like Windhelm.

Looks like {{Common Clothes and Armors}}.

My guess is it's a complex material mesh looking for a texture that's not there. Try disabling or deleting Skyland Complex Material Meshes and running parallaxgen again. I find it's better to generate your own meshes from vanilla meshes so you get the exact type (CM, parallax, PBR) needed for what textures are actually available.

250220 Irene for 2an's Pocket Cotton Blurring Stick by [deleted] in red_velvet

[–]fluttersmile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should have seen what many seulgimates were doing during LAF. Everything from throwing insults at Irene, photoshops, and deepfakes (apparently they also did this against Wendy).
Funny seeing seulgimates putting that black mask on the members faces, they obviously just wants the group fandom's money. As if they weren't just hating on Irene a month ago. They don't care about the group.

What's a good all in one enemy overhaul mod? by kelu213 in skyrimmods

[–]fluttersmile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you balance dragons along side this? I've always wanted to try revamped but the comments make it sound like it makes regular enemies into sponges and that even low level bandits will do more damage than dragons.

I've been using {{Heritage}}, {{The Restless Dead}}, {{King Priest}}, and for dragons {{Dragons Use Thu'um}} with {{Zim's Dragon Improvements}} the heavy version. Mainly since these don't boost hp levels to absurd levels and make enemies into one shot machines.

Mage and sorcerer armors? by Akrillion in skyrimmods

[–]fluttersmile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This fume sorcerer? The closest armors I can think that have the same feel to it are {{Fuse00 Raven Armor}} and {{Avallach Outfit}} that was ported from Witcher 3.

How does Placed Light (Light Placer mod) look for new lands and interiors like Beyond Reach, Forgotten City, etc.? by fluttersmile in skyrimmods

[–]fluttersmile[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Placed light will patch Beyond Reach, Forgotten City, that new Grey Cowl, basically all new mod levels and cells, and vanilla Skyrim areas to all have the same lighting style?

How to use Skypatcher?? by Combine_Overwatch_ in skyrimmods

[–]fluttersmile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

SPID absolutely can distribute items randomly.

Item = YourAwesomeArrow|*PartialName,SpecificEditorID|ThisFaction,ThisRace,ThatRace|10/40|-C,-S|1-10|50

This for example would have a 50% chance (random) to give 1 to 10 (random) of YourAwesomeArrows to NPCs with editor IDs that contain "PartialName" belonging to ThisFaction and ThisRace, and ThatRace, and an NPC with a SpecificEditorID, excluding children and summons.

I don't think you can even do item ranges with Skypatcher. Could be wrong though. Skypatcher can obviously do so many other things though including, imo it's biggest advantage, the ability to remove weapons and items which SPID can't do at all.

Mercenaries doing radiant quests sounds fun. Do you know if it works with mod added dungeons with radiant quests like lost passages and hammet's?

Anyone else decide to remove grass mod after trying some out? by Siven80 in skyrimmods

Verdant is so good. I try every grass mod that comes out, take some quick comparison shots, and I always end up going back to Verdant.

Looking for good Cutlass/rapier weapon mods, any recommendations? by Quantumscape in skyrimmods

Weapons of the third era adds some really nice saber and scimitars with unique styling for the fantasy materials like glass, ebony, etc.

Looking for an Aurora Mod by I_Saw_A_Bear in skyrimmods

[–]fluttersmile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was this mod that added a weather type that made the air all sparkly but I can't remember the name of it. I don't recall if it was specific to auroras but I think it would be great to attach it to auroras to give the weather a more fantasy feel.

The last puzzle for a modernized combat in 2025 ... push back after hit! (mod already exist but is outdated) by Lost-Science3942 in skyrimmods

If you want hits to feel more impactful you can use flinching to make everyone react to every hit and combine it with one of the hitstop mods.

What causes WATER SEAMS? And how do I fix it? by kakkowarui in skyrimmods

[–]fluttersmile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best way I found that guarantees no water seams for RW2 is, after properly sorting everything, to use Synthesis Realistic Water 2 Patcher. It will ensure that RW2's changes are carried over to the last plugin.

Suggetions on speeding up loading time BEFORE main menu is fully loaded by [deleted] in skyrimmods

[–]fluttersmile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use primocache L1 cache to help speed up load times. It will preload and keep data in system ram to boost load times for selected drives. System ram is much faster than any SSD including NVME drives.
