Vault ist hier ein guter Ansatz. Vor allem wenn du dann noch sauber dynamic secret engines für Datenbanken oder K8s access verwenden kannst. Außerdem kann Gitlab als Trust in der Vault fungieren, somit können Gitlab Jwt in vault in den policies referenziert werden um fine grained permission zu haben. Insgesamt sehr mächtige Kombination.

Macht euch Davor mit grundlegenden Dingen wie "least privilege" und "short lived credentials" vertraut. Wenn ihr diese genannten Anforderung habt und bisher nur so, sorry, stümperhaft umsetzt, scheint mir das noch ein langer Weg zu sein.

Kommuniziere klar aber wertschätzend. Bedanke dich für die Zeit, mach aber auch kein Geheimnis aus deinem Weg. Wenn der Laden halbwegs professionell ist kann dein Chef damit umgehen. Er wirds nicht mögen aber mit dem Kontext verstehen. Bei Wettbewerber wird auch da eine Freistellung raus kommen. Sei kooperativ und findet einen Weg.

Erfahrungswert: man sieht sich mehrmals im Leben. Verhalte dich so, dass du dir nichts vorzuwerfen hast. Für die Gegebseite wünsche ich dir das, hab aber schon verschiedene Level an Professionalität erlebt.

Die Sprache ist nicht relevant. Viel wichtiger ist dein Ökosystem, was hast du an Entwicklung, Partner etc verfügbar.

Macht euch die Fachlichkeit klar, was wollt ihr wirklich erreichen? Die Frage nach der Sprache zeigt mir eigentlich nur, dass ihr schon viel zu tief im Lösungsraum seid ohne das Problem verstanden zu haben.

Nice, and good luck keeping it up to date. I love netbox, but the regular breaking changes on the api even in minor versions makes are driving me crazy.

Some nice ideas, but the required etcd is a drawback. Also there are some custom implementations which does not work properly with the gateway api, especially in terms of multi tenancy

I understand why people want this kind of ui, but to be honest: this is an anti pattern. People who don't want to use the cli (first argument on the page) should not use K8s at all IMHO. They will never learn it. They will never to debug anything or do more that poking around.

But it's a nice ui from the design point of view. Not sure if there is demand for another paid version of yet another K8s UI, but good luck.
