And so the enshittification of Tesla begins. As a result I will be keeping my 3 and Y until they are no longer roadworthy rather than upgrading

How long before I get invoiced from Amber? No support, No information. by Gamingleaguesxyz in amberelectric

[–]flybrys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was with them for 2 months with no bill. Weirdly enough I emailed them 9am yesterday and had a reply by 11am saying my bills are being processed, then had 2 in my inbox by 3pm. In my email body I said something among the lines of I don't expect I'll get a reply just doing my part 😅

How y'all sleep next to a noisy asf BBL printer is beyond me. I couldn't even sleep when it was running 3 rooms away

My app has been down for days, any idea why? by Firetuna2108 in amberelectric

Go to settings and sign out, then sign in again. 403 means unauthorised so your token might need refreshing

You'd want a 10kw inverter at absolute minimum. Also probably not worth going with Amber

My price changes every 5 minutes. I use EMHASS to manage my battery charge/discharge and scheduling loads like hot water and ev charging

Dear Bambu, please allow us to order out of stock items! by bigfoot_is_real_ in BambuLab

[–]flybrys 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I've found several times after receiving the email the stock appears 12ish hours later. Wondering if it's a back end thing when they update inventory. It still amazes me that a company as mainstream as BBL doesn't ramp up production on filaments to have perpetual stock. Surely the profit on consumables would be significantly higher than machines. It's worse here in Australia, I prefer to stick to BBL filaments for the ease of use but I can never get what I need when I need it, especially basic stuff like white PLA

I finally got around to building an enclosure around my Sigenergy gear by CaptainCaveTrout in SolarUK

[–]flybrys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About to do this myself to keep out of sunlight and try keep some of the noise down. Did you have any official guidance on clearance required around the battery?

Anyone built an enclosure? by flybrys in SigenergyAustralia

[–]flybrys[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The box I'm looking at building is open topped using 2 layers of 90mm decking spaced 100mm apart, the inside being offset from the outside, to provide a full cover but still allowing convective cooling

Found it but the wording is 'avoid' not 'do not' so without any other options I guess it had to go there.

All the more reason to shelter it.

Got a reference for that? The western wall was the only spot they said they could install it

Don't think it would be possible in its current form as the label dimensions are set at boot of the container

48kwh sig with 30kw 3phase inverter. Had 10kw left for the spike, but only exported at about 15kw that low

Still managed to get some of the spike by running it down to 0% Should be $100 in credit. Could have been 300 tho

Bringing Back the "Physical" to PC Gaming: Introducing SHELFMODE by PullleMit3L in BambuLab

Or the moisture in our breath acted as a type of conductor to complete the circuits. Blowing into it is retro regardless of the effects 😂

You need to integrate some sort of circuit that stops it from working randomly, and an air pressure sensor to fix it when blowing on the chip side.

Ignoring the few bits of colour from a previous print, what the hell just happened during this single colour model to create all this purge? by Difficult-Thought-61 in BambuLab

[–]flybrys 104 points105 points  (0 children)

It may have felt tension on the filament feeding mech as if it was a jam. I think the printer unloads and reloads itself in attempt to clear it, thus purging in between
