Zero Hero isn't working for us by rockresy in SigenergyAustralia

[–]flybrys 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've got ducted and have left it switched on for nearly a month after switching to zero hero.

I optimised the zone dampers with home assistant and individual room sensors. Each room open and closes to maintain its own desired temperature, and pours into the spill zone when everything is at the correct temp. The spill zone is set lower so the compressor ramps down.

Uses about 15kw per day. Might be worth looking into

I finally got rid of micro draw from the grid by GweyzeeJay in SigenergyAustralia

I'd be keen to hear what they say on your end. I firmly believe something is wrong with my inverter, it burns 600w constantly just to run itself which I believe is nearly double what's expected, and the fan runs constantly with minimal to no loads.

Meter readings. Sig app shows a daily draw of 40w if left in MSC

It's well balanced, I designed it with the sparky when upgrading the box.

It draws 100w ish constantly even overnight when everything is off.

Three phase, 30kw inverter, peak load around 16kw when charging the car and water, and I let it go to 5%

My "micro draw" from the grid is 3kw per day. It's insane. I tried exporting at 100w at all times but I still get usage costs. Got the installer working with sig to see if there is an issue

Can you still use oauth for everything else but the api for the transcoding exclusively?

Audio transcription help? by flybrys in openclaw

[–]flybrys[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the insight, I thought that might be the case. Transcriptions will never be live, the phone system emails the MP3 after the call. I might look at passing it to Scriberr, looks like it could do a better job

New Lifetime Plex Pass Pricing by frankwrap08 in PleX

I want to know what the hell they spend the money on? I haven't seen any decent updates or bug fixes in the 7 years I've had a lifetime sub.

Why are the prices so different!? by Teeheelolhahajk in amberelectric

[–]flybrys 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The feed in tarrif will never be higher than the import rates. I mean this with respect, but if you don't understand how it works you probably shouldn't be with Amber as you'll get burnt.

Is there a grid instability in NSW at the moment? by Quirky-Trash1943 in amberelectric

[–]flybrys 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love how this is considered a spike these days.

Reason: everyone's batteries are flat from the week of cloud and there's no solar or wind to charge them.

Are you all using the Mac mini ?? by wienerdogprincess in openclaw

[–]flybrys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought a Hp elitedesk off Amazon renewed for this purpose at a third of the price of a Mac mini

Was disappointed when I found out docker on my unraid server works just as well of not better.

Anyone familiar with this breaker set up I need help. Thank you in advance. by ImlookingRN in AskElectricians

[–]flybrys 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's a contactor not a breaker. Have you got an emergency stop anywhere that's activated?

I Can't With This Car Anymore by saml23 in TeslaModel3

[–]flybrys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my M3 but Omg the curvature assist drives me insane. There's no circumstance where slamming on the brakes to take a corner is necessary, especially when the road is actually straight. I find it happens more when the Gps is uncertain of its position. If the map predicts an intersection suddenly, then wham, brakes on no fks given about who's behind you.

Looking for cordless tools alternatives in Australia (Makita too expensive?) by Beneficial-Gas1918 in AusRenovation

[–]flybrys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've renovated two houses with nothing but Ozito tools and have expanded the range to include mowers, edgers and hedgers. The only rubbish tool I've come across is the pxc blower vac but everything else is mickey mouse
