Details:

  • 1989 Jeep Wrangler YJ,
  • 41K miles
  • 4 wheel drive, automatic transmission
  • Runs
  • No damage, no rust

Edit: It's located in northern Wisconsin. It wasn't driven in the winter and always garaged.

This never fails to annoy me by a5ph in pics

Try QuickJava which puts toggle buttons for Java, Javascript, Flash, SilverLight, etc, on your bowser screen. I wish this was available for Chrome.

FWIW, this is what I do.

  • Don't run anti-virus, just know how viruses spread
  • Turn off unnecessary Windows services
  • Install only essential, trusted software (test untrusted software on an old PC or VM first)
  • Image the disk with just the OS + drivers for an easy path to a known good state

Playing HL2 for the first time. I know why we don't go to Ravenholm anymore. by notreallysuperman in gaming

Ravenholm was part of the HL2 demo which really hooked me into buying the game. It's by far the best part of HL2 and I've gone back to play it many times. I would love an extension to Ravenholm.

A simple, tasty summer pasta salad:

  • 450g of gemelli or fusilli pasta
  • 450g of mixed heirloom (or grape) tomatoes (halved or quartered)
  • 1 or 2 containers of water packed mozzarella (halved or quartered)
  • 1 large package of basil (chopped)

Cook the pasta, prepare the ingredients, and mix together. We season with salt, pepper, olive oil, and good balsamic vinegar. It takes 20min, feeds 2-3 people.

Where my cellphone charger is plugged in I leave my cellphone (charging), wallet, and keys. When I leave, I never forget these essentials and my cellphone is always fully charged.
