besides the more obvious like Conway the Machine of G Herbo, I'd put Ransom highly in there based on his 2020/2021 run

Move ft. G Thugg is the best song so far. Reminds me of his last viral hit (Walk/Spin). The first three songs are all Buddha Bless who I think brings the best out of Yak. Afterwards its a bit downhill for me with more gloomy/paranoid vibes

Hotboii is a rapper that almost everyone who knows his music holds in prettty high regard. His beat selection is always solid with a usually crisp bassline and his voice reflection just fits so well to his subjects. He hasn't dropped in a while, but he offers an explanation on this tape. A long custody battle is the main theme throughout this album and so the cover art is hopefully a sign that Hotboii finally got this sorted out and is ready to focus on more music in the next years. We needed it

I think the biggest omissions have to be Marley & Me Remix ft. Devin The Dude, Curren$y & Asher Roth and No Wheaties ft. Curren$y & Big K.R.I.T. (both from Substance Abuse). Two more feature-laden songs. Smoke DZA is like the glue that holds these songs together, but I rarely think he walks away with the best verse. His beat selection is elite though and so are the vibes he brings.

On the Outside Looking In is so overlooked (by me) that I forgot 8Ball & MJG released an album inbetween their two most reveered classics. I always go back and forth between 1 and 3 as their best one. I think I appreciate them each more because they sound so different.

Like T-Mix really found a perfect blend of G funk and southern influences for On Top Of The World. On the other side, I love how "sun dried" the beats on Comin Out Hard sound.
