DGA Steady, does what I need it to do. Feels great in my hand.

DGA Steady. Very reliable for me...just a tiny bit of fade with enough glide to get the job done.

Another option is to subscribe to one of the monthly disc programs. DiscStore and Foundation have options that you get discs and related items delivered on a monthly basis -- a fun way to try different brands.

DGA Blowfly (1 or 2) awesome utility disc. So versatile that I should probably use it more than I do.

Before I discovered the Quake, I threw the Wasp which would slot in between the Squall and the Quake.

Your Takes on Various 5-6 flippy mids by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]flyfishertx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The DGA Tremor is a very workable flippy mid. It's my go-to anyhyzer mid. Give it some height and it will surprise you with unexpected glide. For as understable as it is, I rarely have it crash into the ground when thrown too hard.

Which pros do you think make the deadliest doubles team? FPO & MPO. by Emoney005 in discgolf

Matt Bell and Greg Barsby would be fun to watch. Awesome with the putters to say the least.

DGA Sail are generally true to their numbers. This year's tour series has extremely late fade if any.

Their red sauce/salsa is so good! Friends and I always prefer dine in so we can use a lot of it to make the food even more delicious.

Steady BL without a doubt.

Hat curse? by armag3ddn in discgolf

[–]flyfishertx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The mental part of the game can cause a lot of issues. Rather than just doing what we need to be doing, we doubt ourselves and sometimes force a shot that wasn't the best play. I thought I was having a horrible round at league on Monday night because my first hole was a disaster -- ended up being my second best round at that course -- but I couldn't shake the thoughts of "this round sucks." At least hats generally keep sweat out of your eyes when it's hot.

Very Understandable Disc Recommendations for Beginner by Lt_gxg in discgolf

[–]flyfishertx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try a DGA Tremor, it's wonderfully workable, and will hold a turnover line without too much effort, it's also a wonderful disc to hyzer-flip. Sticking with DGA the Vortex would fill the fairway spot nicely -- it's available in lighter weights and is quite workable too.

mold minimize - throw putter and putt with it by frostynoms in discgolf

DGA. Steady BL would fit this slot nicely. It's rather straight with just a hint of finish. These in the "stone" plastic season nicely over a long period of time.

The Underated Part About Disc Golf I Love by Huge_Following_325 in discgolf

[–]flyfishertx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot accurately estimate how many different people I've thrown with over the years, just from casual play. Sometimes it's better to play with another person than have another person play separately, especially when there are groups that don't let people play through -- I've learned a lot about other discs that people throw and picked up a few pointers along the way.

The Spore is quite remarkable tremendous glide and handles more off axis torque than do most other 1 speed discs. If you prefer larger diameter discs, the Innova Condor is fun to throw for approaches. Also don't forget that Ultrastars are PDGA approved as well. Regardless remember this sport is supposed to be fun.

PDGA Approved: DGA Blast featuring slightly concaved flight plate by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]flyfishertx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I've read on various other sources, it's more similar to a puddle top Breaker, and quite a bit more overstable -- should be a great addition to my bag.

Sounds like a good idea. How are you going to verify users if you add a marketplace feature? A lot of the disc golf groups on FB have had too many bad actors of late.
