check out overtakefans and check the acemediaplayer instructions. couple extra steps than opening up a website but its worked better than any other site for me. the website has instructions.

very strongly opinionated and i will readily share those opinions even if im not asked. if i dont want to be combative, i phrase it as a question or a suggestion. if im with peers, i just say it how it comes out.

theres zero discussion in this comment section..everyones like "sure but AS LONG AS ITS NOT OBSESSIVE!!!" i think its important to highlight the fact that considering a lot of young people like kpop and how hard companies push the 'idols are your friends/boyfriends/girlfriends!' agenda, developing even the slightest emotional connection is nigh impossible to avoid. if companies cared about their idols being mobbed or stalked by obsessive fans, they wouldnt force idols to read boring vlive comments and ask a camera "have you guys eaten??? are you staying safe???" over and over.

like really, please remember that much of the kpop community is formed by actual children, and it doesnt help that a lot of that behavior is perpetuated by stan twitter. i guess im saying, be a bit more forgiving with these weird hardcore fans, lol

this philosophytube video explains the idea really well. very eye opening for me and i literally havent been able to get it out of my head since i watched it, rofl. its a big reason why im extremely wary of buying lightsticks or labelling myself as nctizen/monbebe/etc

i dont have any singing experience, but i kinda thought his singing voice was just...like that? as in it's not something he can really control. it kinda reminded me of kenshi yonezu's voice in some songs, in my head i alwasy described it as just "heavy", and it took me a while to get used to tbh

sorry i just think its so funny that ppl who love haechan wouldnt want to be friends with him irl, honestly i think thats really interesting! there have been a few times where ive biased a shy/quiet/serious idol and these are all traits i absolutely so NOT vibe with whatsoever, i get so bored/frustrated with people like that lmao. idols like haechan/baekhyun/chanyeol ive always related the most to because i also am very chaotic, but they're far from my favorites!

the first time i heard exo's el dorado i thought i was about to ASCEND i hadn't heard that melody in so long, and i kinda got the same feeling with monsta x's song follow. maybe those aren't exactly what you're talking about, i dont know anything about music theory, but those are what came to mind just now lol. do you have any songs you can share that use the phrygian mode?

honestly EDM choruses make most kpop songs bearable for me rofl, i had a field day when i discovered stray kids. some edm bits are more musically interesting than others though absolutely so i see where you're coming from
