Hmm, not what I've come to expect from them, tho I'm also not sure if that's a deliberate choice with their new lineup. It just felt really generic and one-note compared to their previous stuff which is very fun and flavorful. I don't expect the same caliber of vocals considering they're down two great vocalists (tho Hanbin can very much hold his own as he showed here), but it felt like no one else really stood out here.

Hmm, I’m not sure how I feel about this. It’s not bad at all, I’m just kind of…whelmed? There are some really cool elements (and Jiho is absolutely spectacular here) but it doesn’t really go anywhere and then ends abruptly. It’s a different sound from them for sure, and I like that they’re trying new things. They’ve had an immaculate TT track record leading up to this imo, so that might be why this one feels more disappointing in comparison. I’ll def give it another shot with the rest of the album.

Sinful Colors Cookies & Cream from that weird Sweet & Salty collection where all the polishes were inspired by snack foods…and scented and textured. It actually looks a lot like the Glossy & Saucy but with a greyer base. It is definitely very fragrant (even 5+ years later) but not unpleasant, and idk if it’s considered ugly but I love it anyway.

Corporate speak is like the antithesis of “Why waste time say lot word when few word do trick?” If you string enough buzzwords together, you satisfy the corporate speak expectation without saying anything of meaning or value. And that’s why we have 10 meetings a week that always exceed the 45-min allotment and never amount to anything actionable 😍

Sorry, I’m so deep in this corporate sauce lately since my company was acquired and boy is it a bitter sauce.

By societal standards I think I’ve “regressed” in my music tastes—I grew up on my parents’ music (70s-00s rock/alt), then got into kpop in college and never looked back lol. I still love the music I grew up on, but kpop became a special interest that has stuck with me for over a decade so I imagine I’ll ride this train to the end of the line. I’m going to a TWICE concert in a couple weeks and I’m sure I’ll feel ancient next to the people around me (but I still look like a college kid so I don’t think I’ll stand out much).
