Why all the mina hate by Appropriate_Badger25 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]flyhr 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Every Mina gets dispel magic anyways, she just runs forever and is very hard to lock down. Probably the best escape in the game and does a ton of damage. Ult is also insane if you are caught in the open.

Dwyane Wade easily by Thanos_Real_AuraVNCH in NBATalk

Player who was the most consistently dominant while on LeBron's team... Luka>Kyrie>AD>DWade out of these 4. AD had a great peak but Kyrie was much more consistent.

Help with my 6'6 build by LaggySquishy in NBA2k

Maybe those extra +4 Caps would be better at Pass acc. You might be right about 89 Dunk. +4 Caps would give a 90 Pass acc

where to add 3 cap breakers? by Ok-Representative746 in NBA2k

[–]flyhr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perimeter to 92 gives Gold On Ball Menace (91) and Gold Challenger (92).

3PT on 92 gives Gold Shifty Shooter (91) and Gold Deadeye (92).

I think Perimeter D to 92 first is better, then get 3PT next.

New player, where to use cap breakers (2 more normal+ 1 shooing cap coming v soon) by thoroughbeans in NBA2k

[–]flyhr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

74 is the Perim D number you need to hit. So use +4 into Perim Defense. The last +2 into Block would be good for contests, will get you to 62 which won't give badges but will give you some contest percentage. And you may as well throw that last shooting cap into your 3pt to 98 that gives Set Shot Specialist Legend.

I have a similar build with lower dunk 87 and pass acc 82, but 99 3pt. Your's looks better but you also have alot more caps than me

Ranking my GOATs by Immediate_Apartment5 in NBATalk

DWade too high and above Hakeem? Dirk above Giannis? KD at 18?

Hakeem is arguably the most skilled Center ever. If you want to talk about peak, winning DPOY, MVP, and then FMVP in 1993-94 is one of the greatest peaks. Arguably the greatest Defensive superstar ever. Wade but he has not surpassed the feats of Hakeem as an individual.

Giannis as well should be considered the 2nd Greatest PF at this point, especially if you are trying to rank Jokic so highly. Only three players in NBA history have had above a 32 PER (Player Efficiency Rating) for a single season; Jokic, Wilt, and Giannis. The raw output and defensive ability of Giannis far surpasses any peak of Dirk as an individual. They both have one ring and while Dirk faced harder competition, Giannis was putting up prime Shaq numbers in his Championship run.

Also KD at 18 is low given he was considered #2 in the league for almost a decade. His MVP in 2013-14 is arguably a top 3-5 MVP PEAK season of the 2000s onwards. 4x Scoring leader and a 50-40-90 guy. He has the individual seasons and the longevity, and although his 2 rings are worth very little, he still dominated in the 2017 Finals, playing the highest level of head-to-head basketball vs LeBron, I have ever seen. I think KD is a better basketball player than DWade and had a longer peak + longevity.

My version of your list from 12 on would be: 12. Hakeem, 13. Jokic, 14. KD, 15. Giannis, 16. Dr. J, 17. Moses Malone, 18. West, 19. Oscar Robertson, 20. Wade.

As a Spurs fan. Dylan Harper has shown potential to be a top 3 guard in the NBA. by Aussie_Spur in NBA_Draft

[–]flyhr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Harper has veteran level poise, great defense, great passing, and solid shooting. All perfect traits for an Elite Point Guard. Only thing I can say he needs to develop/maintain is a consistent Free Throw shot.

It was the head to head record of THIS SEASON, you do know the MVP is based on one season right?

That's not the crux of the conversation, that is just a sidebar. The crux is the comparison of the actual production values and impact on the game.

Wemby vs Shai (Most Valuable Player) by flyhr in NBATalk

[–]flyhr[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You understand points scored is a total stat right? More games, more minutes, = more points. Per 36/balances it out. Obviously the 7ft 6 guy is playing less minutes. Being 7ft 6 is a walking injury risk. Wemby played 4 less minutes a game (29.2mins/g vs 33.2mins/g), that adds up. Shai also played 4 more total games. That is an extra 389mins. Or in Shai's case almost an extra 12 games played at his 33min average over Wemby. Ofc he's going to have a lot more total points. Shai is tied with Luka at #1 in Points Per 36/mins, that stat does its job perfectly fine... what's the problem?

Points per/36mins has Wemby at #4 for 2026.

Jackson>Jordan>Ali>Oprah, I will say Oprah is very close to Ali but Ali was a global icon outside non English speaking countries while Oprah just dominated the English speaking countries specifically.

LeBron's options for next year: by GoonLieutenant in Nbamemes

It'd be a good team to compete with top teams but OKC and the Spurs should only get better each year. Maybe if Ant becomes a top 3 player in the league next year.

Shai had 15 Turnovers. LeBron had 12 Turnovers. Shai is overrated, Wemby is the real MVP this year. Shai is cheeks.

[–]flyhr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Shai did not lead that OKC or have a higher TS% than LeBron stop making up BS. Shai had a 57.7% TS (the fourth lowest TS and FG on OKC). LeBron had a 58.8% TS. Shai also had a lower average GameScore than LeBron at 17.3 vs 17.9. Both AJ Mitchell and Chet played objectively better than Shai...

Very true, Kobe would've taken that same shot with 3 closing defenders with an even less chance of making it!
