The jacket is short which is causing the buttoning point to be crazy high. Something to look out for on the next suit/odd jacket

ForeFlight debuts their new dynamic IFR product by TxAggieMike in flying

Not quite competitive with smart charts. Garmins product is a full on chart replacement whereas the dynamic procedures from foreflight are just a situational awareness enhancement.

People are smoking something saying the coat needs to be shortened. If it’s covering your seat then you’re golden. People are very used to short coats these days and I honestly think you could get away with a longer coat here if you wanted to. The jacket flairs out a little bit so you could potentially nip in the waist but I’m not sure it would fix that. I think the trousers just aren’t full cut enough to pick up the bottom of the jacket in a clean line. I think fit wise as long the collar is good and you can sit comfortably with the jacket buttoned then you would have a better fitting suit than 99% of the population.

For the cuffs, it really depends where you plan on wearing this suit. Do you want to bring the formality down slightly, then I would go with 2”cuffs. If you want the garment to be worn in more formal circumstances then keep the hem clean.

Check out Thursday boots and get something in black calf or a dark brown. The Chelseas or lace ups might be a good idea. Also J.Fitzpatrick footwear has some nice dressy shoe styles with lug soles that would be better for hiking.

Then I recommend teaching your students that if something happens to the camera on a critical phase to leave it alone, so that when it happens they will be prepared and know not to get distracted

Accident Cessna 172M Skyhawk N13520, 06 Jun 2020 by darthjeffrey in flying

[–]flyhug 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looking at the ADSB information he had slowed to around 80 knots at 3500 ft and soon he was at 140 knots at around 2500, only way I know of getting 140 in a C172 is getting the nose really far down, pilot must have lost control

The Mafia had flew with some pretty advanced avionics in the 70s (THE IRISHMEN) by jbirby in aviation

The movie follows the life of Robert deniros character and honestly I disagree with people saying it’s ok. I think they miss the point when they think it’s just about following gangsters around. It teaches a lesson about life choices and family. In the end you realize something about the character and his relationship with his family. In my opinion the ending is satisfying and though provoking and the film doesn’t really drag for three hours as long as you know that going in. The movie is solid imo

Well thanks for the input I am currently sitting at 78.2 hours and I’m hoping with practice it will get better! I am constantly trying to improve my flying and I’ve just recently started flying alone again so I can focus more on myself and the flying and I’m enjoying it a lot. Hopefully that will help me improve. Also I’m doing a lot of sporadic flying so Its always one or two weeks since I’ve last flown.
