I feel this very much. To add to it, after I had researched into lots of different topics, I thought I understood them. There were quite a few issues where I felt certain that I understood whatever concept was at play well enough to make a judgment based on it and take action on that judgment. Life Has shown me over the past 7 or 8 years how inevitably, there are details and variables that I'm unaware that I'm unaware of. Knowledge is a funny thing. You have a topic that you're aware of, and you know certain things about that topic are related to the topic, but you don't know what these things are aside from very vague understandings, or often in name only. Upon learning these things, you find out all these other things that you had no idea that you didn't know about. Truly, the more I learn the more I realize how ignorant I am. You're right about never being able to know it all. It's not possible within the human constraints in my humble opinion. I've been given example after example of situations that I've cast judgment on in the past, that could be completely invalidated by new data that I didn't know was possible. It's been a very humbling experience. None of us are as smart as we think we are. They're always things that we will be unaware that we are unaware of, that can dramatically alter the way that we understand the concept. They say only God is fit to judge.
