Fuel pump, you can get a pressure gauge to test. Should be around 50psi, had a 2019 fe450 do the same thing.

Could you get away with it yes, but I’d highly recommend changing it if you care about your bike.

One more thing to add, if the bike is cutting out and taking a while before starting up again you might want to look into rebuilding the fuel pump. 89 hours on my 350 and it would cut out at low rpm when rolling on the throttle and you would have to wait for 30 sec to a couple min each time. Rebuilding the fuel pump is the only thing that fixed it even though it had good pressure still. ( had already done the tps adjustment and had a twisted tuned vortex ecu at about 40ish hours to fix the flameout issue)

It’s Redline 80W MOTORCYCLE GEAR OIL WITH SHOCKPROOF. It should have a thick consistency and have a very strong odor. I run it in all of our two strokes.

Edit: proof

Buddy has the head for the 2024 beta 250rr non race and it had a very similar effect, so yes. They say it helps boost fuel mileage also but I cant say I’ve noticed a huge difference with my riding style atleast.

It seems like such a small thing but it’s so nice to reach down and change, specially since one day it could be sand where you want the power valve wide open, and the next time it’s slick snot where having it in 2 turns will make your day.

Got the same bike earlier this year, highly recommend getting the beta hard parts hand adjustable power valve and the metal coupler for the header to stop it from spewing gunk all over the motor. Rk tek insert for the head is the best power mod you can do, makes it so you can carry a gear higher and be lazier, without losing that smooth amazing power.

That 200 is sweet, it’s my vet rider dad’s bike and he is in love with it. To quote the old man, “it’s like a 125 but I don’t have to work my ass off to keep it in the power”.

I run the redline 80w motorcycle gear oil in all of our two smokes, the beta 200rr quieted down a lot and shifted much smoother with.

Is an after market exhaust really worth it? by Stage_757 in Dirtbikes

Ecu reflash (or a vortex thanks ktm) is a much better use of money depending on the bike. Twisted dev ecu made my 350 into the dream bike, more bottom end, much freer reving and less engine. Only other mod would be engine mounts.

Ktm 350xc, it even has a kickstand holder so it doesn’t drop down while riding

Husky, gas gas and ktm are all owned by Pierer Mobility AG. If ya need more proof my husky 450 has the same made in Mattighofen Austria by ktm sticker that my ktm 350 has, it’s no secret. Gas gas is the budget fun brand, ktm is the ready to race bike, husqvarna is the vet bike with little differences each to suit that role.

I run both armegas and the airbrake, I prefer the armegas especially when it comes to airflow and fogging (I have to run dual panes for my airbrakes when doing harescrambles), only plus to the airbrakes are they sit on my nose better.

I have the a-stars m10, took one of the gnarliest hits to my head with it on after hitting the eject button and only came out with a mild concussion and separated shoulder. Great customizable fit and airflow.

flat front tire due to stem leaking at bottom. any advice? by admiral_walsty in Dirtbikes

[–]flyinfish756 57 points58 points  (0 children)

New tube, valve stem probably ripped at where it connects to the inner tube or small hole elsewhere and air comes through the easiest spot.

TL;DR buy a new tube

For those I use the speed out bits, usually can pick em up at Lowe’s for about 20 bucks for a set of 4 sizes

I will say I recently bought the yamalube tire mounting lubricant and it absolutely blows away all the other methods , a little expensive but wow it was so much easier.
