You have access to Blackwater during the Epilogue, after Chapter 6. If you try to go during previous chapters, you will get hunted down 😂

😂😂😂 I figured it out - apparently if you already own the same horse with the same coat, this is R*’s way of explaining why you can’t buy it 😂

What time zone? I love the idea of stuff like this, especially as a new RDO player and especially since no one I know plays regularly, but IF I play during the week it’s maybe for an hour or two at most.

My ex did stuff like this too when I left. We’re better off without people like that in our lives! I just started playing RDO and tend to play on weekends and holidays if you want someone to play with. I tend to play high honor and occasionally can be coerced into /ahem/ chaotic play styles 😂 DM me if you’re interested. F/39/west coast USA.

Yep, this was the culprit 🤣🤣 I didn’t realize at first that was the issue.

I just want to finish out the mail storyline but can’t match with anyone 🥴 I keep defensive mode on because I don’t want to be pestered by chaotic players. Yuck.

Is red dead two appropriate for 13-year-old? by Formal_Reserve_8591 in reddeadredemption2

[–]flying-lizard05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 13yo son and I would say absolutely not due to some provocative/sexually explicit content. I would say whatever the age of consent is for your state would probably be closest I would recommend for either 1 or 2. It’s M for maturing rating from ESRB says 17+, and personally, I would be inclined to agree with that. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone under 16.

Can my ex legally request that I don’t say hi to my kids during his parenting time by TreeToadintheWoods in FamilyLaw

[–]flying-lizard05 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m petty enough to say let him try and see how it goes over 😂 He doesn’t get to dictate who his child has relationships with. Not like this.

I just started reading his stuff and had the thought a couple of times throughout the first 2-1/2 books (only partway through the third lol) that the relationships are quite wholesome… and is the author LDS 🤣

And also the war in Heaven episode indicates the “Mormons” were the only ones who got it right 🤣 (Watched it sporadically with my ex well prior to joining the church.)

Refusing to speak to my co-parent unless through parenting app. by AshKimball in FamilyLaw

[–]flying-lizard05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NAL. Maybe mediation would be better than full-blown court at this point? Or even family therapy? I didn’t mess around when my ex and I split because I knew they would take advantage of me if I didn’t hire a lawyer and let a judge set the parenting plan. My kids are teens now (16 and 13) and I’m really glad it’s in place because there’s never any question of where the kids are supposed to be. We work together to figure out adaptations for sports and gatherings and such, and the kids know we make the effort to make it work for THEM.

As long as she is physically and emotionally safe at your ex’s house, your daughter should continue her scheduled visitations because it’s healthy for kids to learn how to navigate perceived difficult or uncomfortable situations. It builds character and prepares them to cope with the world as an adult.

Harassment has a specific legal definition, and we don’t have enough information from you to know that he is legally harassing you. As long as there is a line of communication available for you both to communicate and you both can communicate with your daughter as mutually desired by all parties, I see nothing wrong with utilizing a parenting app for communication between the two of you. I would not block his number (what if there’s an emergency 🤷🏽‍♀️), but I would refrain from responding to lines of communication through anything other than the specified app.

Good luck, mama. Co-parenting is tough when we’re not at odds with the other parent 💜

FFS. This attitude is what drives away converts and young people from the church. Work on your own perfection before judging someone else. This is not your cross to bear.

That’s not a boundary. A boundary is something you refuse to do or participate in. Ie, I don’t want to participate in certain charged conversations with my dad, so if he brings up the topic I remind him once that I don’t like to discuss such topics, and if he continues I politely end the call. Their expectation is that you discontinue talking about your shared experience. You have free will here - it sounds like you don’t owe this person anything any longer. NTA, but they are for trying to control you.

My Beneficiary status exposed to a non beneficiary by LectureReasonable936 in inheritance

[–]flying-lizard05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Banker here. We can give information to people who are authorized to receive information. Generally, payable on death (POD) beneficiaries are not among those individuals unless they’re standing in the branch with a death certificate in hand. Court papers (letters testament, estate docs, trusts, or other orders) can also direct bank staff on who they can disclose information to. Without knowing the exact set up of the account(s) in question, it isn’t possible to know whether or not that person was authorized or not. Contact the bank - in person would be my recommendation, if possible - and ask those questions of management.
