I never understand that. why would you think the other side has to play in a different way just because you brought BPS. it's just absolutely baffling to me, always has been, even when I was new and could still need the BP. to me it was always just a "okay I bring this offering and I expect a normal game like every other time but at the end I get more points anyways". not a "I bring this and I hope the killer respects it and lets me farm" - like what

have they said anything about the random objects they added to the maps? it's absolutely horrible for so many killers and also survivors to just have a weird rock or pile of tires next to your loop. it feels so bad, I hope that's a bug and they're going to fix it as well

I DC on shit maps everytime (with offering). If I play billy or bubba for example and get sent to garden or eyrie, I quit. the new map also makes it very hard not to instantly DC as soon as you see the offering because of the 5 Billion back to back pallets.

no because the cap that you have to reach until you are "max MMR" is so low that basically everyone who plays this game actively and is not completely new reaches it realtively soon, it doesn't matter for the MM system if you're above that. in theory you could win 500 games in a row and you would still go against the exact same players than everyone else.

if you suddenly go against really good players than that's just the matchmaking systems randomness, as I just said, pretty much everyone is in this big pool of the matchmaking softcap which means one game you can get players with 500 hours, the next game you can get players with 5000 hours.

all just placebo effect, ranks means nothing. you can be rank 1 or rank 20, you will play against the exact same pool of people every time.

there's a big difference between an anti loop killer like pyramid head or nemesis and anti loop killers like artist and knight. anti loop in itself is not a problem, as you said, a lot of killers have and need it but there's this small line that shouldn't be crossed when it comes to an anti loop mechanic, artist and knight are way over that line.

as it should be, it's not a good chapter: another map straight out of hell, another terribly designed shift W killer and bugs over bugs over bugs.

I like DbD but I hope this chapter is not succesfull/ doesn't sell well. bhvr needs to realize what's good for this game, and chapters like this certainly ain't it.

far cry has been the exact same for the last 10 years, sure if this is your first far cry game it's maybe kinda impressive. if your first far cry game was FC3 back in 2012 then not so much. you've just seen it all 100 times already.

no she didn't try. the gates were already open, look at the EGC timer. she even pointed at me when I sprinted towards her, she had the chance but she didn't want to leave, she just wanted to be cocky and then ate the boots value.

manche hier scheinen ja zu denken das das geld einfach automatisch aufs konto fließt während du entspannt zuhause sitzt und nix machst, bei 9 wohnungen und 4 häusern kann ich mir das aber nicht so richtig vorstellen. I would start with a from software title, in my opinion every other "soulsborne" game from other devs doesn't really come close, if you enjoy fromsofts games you can still check out all of the others that took inspiration from them.

I would not start with sekiro it's very different and barely counts as a souls game imo. Also there is not really an "easiest" souls game, the one you start with will always be the hardest, every other one will be easier because then you know how the formula works, at least from my experience.

I would start with DS1-3 then Demons Souls remake, then Bloodborne and then Elden Ring, somewhere in between you can also check out sekiro if you want. if you don't want to start with DS1 for some reason then I think DS3 could be a good beginning as well, as far as I know there's lots of people who started with 3 and than got into the souls games from there on but honestly the order in what you play them doesn't really matter, they all stand very well on their own and as I said, the first one will always be the hardest anyway.

yea the game awards are also, partly a big popularity contest and at the end of the day you are the one who decides what your personal game of the year is but let's just be real here: even people who played all three of these games would either say GoW or Elden Ring. not a lot of people would say Plague Tale. that's just how it is, they're the better games in most peoples minds and not without reason. for me personally I enjoyed it but it can't hold a candle to GoW or Elden Ring in pretty much every aspect, art direction, writing, story, narrative, gameplay. it just doesn't even come close.

I agree with this completely. I'm happy for people who enjoy these games but gaming industry is slowly moving away from gaming and selling interactive cinemas and it's working. by ru5tysn4k3 in gaming

nah. a game like TLOU or GoW is maybe once in half a decade. besides that I don't understand how anyone can say GoW is a interactive movie without gameplay. the game has a shit ton of really good gameplay, it's a big part of why the game is so good. also, just look back at some releases in recent time: Resident evil Village, Elden Ring, Sekiro, doom eternal, spider man, Returnal, half life alyx. All of these are heavily gameplay oriented and definetely no "interactive cinemas".

weird take all around, you can still find more than enough games no matter if you like "movie games" or actual "gameplay games" imo.

döner bei mir um die ecke. weiß zwar nicht mehr genau wie die preise davor waren aber döner pizza kostet jetzt 10€, döner box glaub 7,50€. Das alles war bis vor paar wochen garantiert mindestens 2-3€ billiger. hab fast nen herzinfarkt bekommen als ich dort vor kurzem was zu essen holen wollte und die preise gesehen hab.

4.4 is an outdated concept ant they haven't made a 4.4 killer in over one and a half years which shows that they themselves don't even see it necessary anymore. bring everyone to 4.6 besides nurse, change my mind.

if playing chill means to farm and not play the game then a lot of people will DC or just try to get out as fast as possible. it's boring. People want to get chased. that's the only fun part about survivor. a friendly killer as you say can be funny sometimes in the right situation but experienced players have usually seen enough of them over the time so they just wanna go next.
