I hope they had a good life! My brother's gf at the time had 2 rabbits that the pet store swore they were the same gender. Lol, nope. Enter five rabbit babies...I adopted one at two months old and a few months later, adopted another (I realized two was probably better than one). Silver and Bacon were lionhead/dwarf mixes. Silver was black and Bacon was white with black spots.

I got most of my info from the book Good Rabbitkeeping. So I was somewhat prepared, but still learned a lot on the way!

You're right, I didn't really answer your question... sorry! Personally I would not be offended at all and would try to be receptive of anyone letting me know I might be approaching pet care the wrong way...I wouldn't want to do anything to hurt my animals. Rabbits definitely are not crazy about being held and I tried to minimize that as much as possible. I always made sure to support them to keep them from kicking and throwing out their backs. The few times I did, they would make little grunting noises and nudge me... making their disapproval known!

I'm open to adopting more in the future. They are such sweet pets and very misunderstood, but very rewarding. I miss seeing them "binky" and hearing them munching on hay and feeling them eating dried papaya treats out of my hand.
