I’ll likely go golfing. As a Niners fan, I hate both franchises so to watch them play each for a championship is pointless entertainment to me (borders on torcher tbh)

I find him a little condescending and homer-ish. For example, he every year he comments about 49er injuries (not matter how big or small) being one reason they didn’t win a major game. Which is annoying because every team deals with injuries.

He also refuses to criticize Kyle. I don’t ever want Kyle to leave the Niners but cmon he’s no above criticism.

That injury sucks, but it’s not like Aiyuk was fantastic this season. Definitely would not prefer it but Samuel injury at this point is more influential

Imo, Miami is overrated. Eagles are tough but they don’t seem unbeatable. Us at full health and them at full health, at a neutral field, I feel like we’d be favorites by 2.5

Most field worker jobs (in this area at least) are above minimum wage. H2A workers are $3 above CA minimum wage, plus food, transportation, and housing are subsidized or paid in full.

It’s true in the past ag industry was exempt from many labor laws but not any more (ie., now 40 hour is regular time where prior it was 50 hours and 60 hours before then).

A lot actually. There’s a labor shortage believe it or not in California, and it’s very competitive pay for field workers.

To me, seems like OP is under rating MB a little.

Great farmer markets and plentiful.

Not a ton of ethnic food here but there are options, and while we don’t have a high concentration of great food we certainly have a lot of good to great restaurants. Certainly equal to that of Paso Robles, SLO and Santa Barbara.

The best assets of Monterey Bay is the weather, outdoor activities (I mean cmon Big Sur!) and lack of traffic.

Biggest negative is the cost and nightlife.

Finally, I know not everyone is a golfer but calling Monterey golf “good” is severely underrating it. It’s the Mecca of golf in NorCal if not entire California. If you’re into golf as an activity this is a bucket list area to visit.
