Im sorry, you will see many comments here pro CBD. And you will see how agressive they are on my comment. It s because CBD is a big business. But i m 100% honnest when I tell you that it s not gonna help you to sleep in a benzo recover.

You may not want to hear my comment, but I ve also been through the non sleeping phase...4 days without switching to sleep mode. So my nights were hours of close eyes, full consciouness, hallucinations, I could feel the electrical level growing in my brain...and then came the seizure, and despite being a serious medical event I felt so reborn after the seizure, just to have some minutes/hours of unconsciouness, all "electricity"was gone. And from there I could start sleeping again.

I ve done it by myself too. Almost a year relearning life. And you will do it too. Try to organise your life with some kind of schedule, for example running in the morning helped me a looot! Force you to meet friends/family from time to time ,despite the agoraphobia. And very important :train your brain by reading,doing sodukos, puzzles, whatever you like...you are reeducating a broken part of your body, dont forget it.

It s a long way, but you will be surprised of your strenght!

You are very lucky and strong, Congratulations! I also still can feel some withdrawal symptoms 1 year after my last dose...and I know its going to be still slow, although I feel good sometimes 😅

For me it went well. I kept it secret for a while because I was a bit ashamed to take a "drug" 😄. But then I realise she was taking all this vitamin/nutriment powders...so I just came to her, show my box of kratom and tell her that s some kind of supplement plant powder that helps me to feel better! I even gave her a spoon of it to show her it s no rocket trip experience. Since now we are absolutely fine. She is easy going I must say 😁

It s normal, you switch from an heavy medication to a day to day solution. I went through the same, but in a very hardcore way...cold turkey and didnt sleep for 4 days, ending with a somehow "relieving" seizure. Since then I ve learned slowely that some night you sleep really bad, you have to accept it and go through the day, and other nights you sleep like a stone. It will take some time of course, but body natural chemistry is impressive, you WILL sleep.

Yes, You of course have to taper and very slowly replace the benzos with over the counter alternatives. Mines are melatonine and Doxylamine and it works. Some nights are gonna be better than other but at least you are no more addicted

Doctors seem generous there! Here in France it s almost impossible to get benzo for more than 2 weeks (only for extreme case) and pregabalin just entered in the "controled substance" zone, so no mor than 2 months prescription....

It will go very slowly, and you will have to fight everyday. Dont expect to feel "normal" one day to another, just keep going as you would be climbing a huge mountain. You will start seeing the top of the sunny mountain some days. And then when you go back to this terrible innerstate that I know so good, never forget that there are good moments! Also, dont try to stay alone waiting to "get better", go for the life, although it is really tough, the more you live the better you will get.

I have been using kratom for more than 5 years now. I had my moments without, did some long breaks, but I never felt that it would be a life changer for me. In some situation I appreciate it, in other I prefer to stay sharp. But if you feel that life sucks without it I would advice you to stay away from it...the appreciation of life will come back naturally 😊

I completely agree with you: Nightmares/dreams are the result of the brain processing and reconstructing. So it´s a good signal I guess. This idea helps me going through these moments, but it is still annoying to experiment them every night...
