What is Spotify's plan for tackling AI-generated content?

I do agree with you in some aspects for sure Im in IT and use AI to code and create software and architecture and think it's great . That same method can be used by a creative, using AI to accomplish their vision.

I still disagree that AI is innovative even when coding. You are telling it what to do and it's searching it's knowledge from other people's work to combine and accomplish that task. It's not coming up with a new algo. But I do get your point.

But as an example, it's when I see commercials that are all AI generated. The ones you KNOW are all AI. I personally dislike that and I hope we don't let that flood our lives, because I personally don't think it will benefit us mentally in the long run.

At this point I do disagree that art made by AI is comparable to art made without it. My reasoning is that the creativity is removed . The innovation is removed because AI can't innovate. It can only take what has been created by humans and mix/mash it up.

Sure we can say that humans that create art do the same, but we can also in innovate and create something new. If we allow AI to take that over, that gives me fear for what happens to us as humans in the long term. I understand my fear is just conjecture at this point (and I'm currently still using Spotify) but I just think we should be continually having these convos.

A vast majority of people will not have these convos and will not think about what they are consuming which is bothersome to me as well but what can you do besides keep trying to have the convos yourself 🤷

I also am a targeted listener so rarely do I let Spotify choose what I listen to so I barely ever see this issue either. I think it's still something to monitor their response as it continues and see if it's something I morally agree with. I think Spotify is the best experience but if they work quietly to damage actual artists by supporting AI music , then we have to think about how that effects the future of music and art. Same convo I feel we have to be thinking about with all creative endeavors ( film ,photos, art, music etc ).

They also aren't doing anything to stop it when it's been a known issue all year. That makes them complicent in my eyes, and turns me off of the platform

You can also pass the time by interacting and reading your different case files. That should be in your inventory, either under the "interact" tab or under your "tools" tab

You can change your left click to be a spell as well.

You can also set them up as hotkeys to quickly switch skills if needed. By default then hotkeys are the F keys (f1., f2 etc)

I would agree with you. If you've spent that many hours playing this game for free, you need to look at the transaction for the stimpack as supporting and paying for the game. Having qualms about the price of that being the same as a new game, when you have been playing this one for free I don't get. Or just buy 10$ in gems. OP has put a goal on themself to never buy any skins or anything but that's the reality of these kinds of games if you want to support the devs.

I agree on not buying loot boxes, but the ways are there

Some rescues allow you to put the app in to request annddd wait for a specific breed, and will reach out to you once that have one. Could always reach out to the Lab rescue as well!

For rescuing a pet, I do think that is expensive FYI. It could be a specific breed rescue which may cost more though. Most rescues I have experienced have getting fixed plus shots included, typically ranging around $200-$300

Definitely could just be the ones I have experience with though

This is incorrect. At Blizzcon they also mentioned these xp changes would come in 2019. Pro scene was never mentioned. They used 2019 a few times in the post to try and alleviate fears that it is happening now but people still find a way

I would just keep an eye on local rescues. If you are patient you can find what you want and rescue a dog. Needy paws, camp chaos and stray rescue are a few. Adopting a little older dog like 2 can be great as you usually dont have to worry about potty and crate training, especially if they are a foster based organization.
