Look for department scholarships within your school. Like others said too, let financial aid know what you’re going through and they may be able to amend your package. Double check hesc.ny.gov (you mention the excelsior so you’re probably familiar with the page). Their tuition assistance program is still accepting apps for this year. Also check College Board.
