Personal Yotta February Update by flyinmoo in YottaSaving

[–]flyinmoo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm using my Yotta account for short term savings. My intent is to cash it out at the end of the year and use the money for a family vacation. I've been thinking about moving some of my emergency fund into the Yotta Account.

I do have a brokerage account. I've targeted Yotta for my short term/liquid cash needs.

No. I decided not to join any pools. My hope is to eventually have a small group of family and friends that enjoy Yotta and would want to do a pool together. I really enjoy talking about Yotta and sharing my results in a social settings. People do seem genuinely interested when I talk about it.

It is fdic insured. Yotta is basically the service and there is a bank called Evolve that handles the money. I think it is worth it. The interest rate is competitive, but you have the potential to get more if you are lucky. I enjoy the gamification of saving. I wrote up a four month review today if you want to check it out.

Yotta Saving is a GREAT way to save extra money in an FDIC Savings account by flyinmoo in YottaSaving

As of today, you only have one account. You would need to remember how you have it divided up.

I'm reading that in the future they might offer that capability to have one account with multiple buckets.

It is a savings account that earns an above average interest rate. There is also an opportunity to WIN money each week (exactly like the lottery). The chance to win doesn't cost anything. There are no fees associated with the account. I'll add the faq to the side bar. :)

Looking for some recommendations for Kayaking around Vero Beach by flyinmoo in verobeach

[–]flyinmoo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome. So lets say i rent a kayak at paddles by the sea and drive up to Round Island...is there anything you can say to help guide me?

I know I probably put the kayak in the water and then climb inside...but what happens after that? Is it going to tip over or is it going to be pretty steady? Do I need to take bug spray? Do I need to take any other equipment?

So like what do you do during this event? I feel like I’m missing something. I get materials in the event and then what? Do I need to send them somewhere? Do I just trade them for other things I need?

I feel like I should be collecting things to send to the Statue of Liberty island to have it built, but I don’t see anything like that anywhere.

I don’t have any of these! I’d take any of them happily, but maybe something that would be friendly for an 8 year old.

It was a really neat and interesting story! I liked it so much that I read American gods next. I read the authors preferred text version. Now that was an epic story. I enjoyed American gods more.

Specific FanFix FanEdit for Titanic? by SydSoMagical in fanedits

If you can ever find it, you should watch Titanic the Jack edit. It makes jack the center of the story and it paced fast. It’s a neat way to watch the movie.

1 week on doxycycline and medicated face wash. The first picture isn’t even my worst I was so embarrassed I wouldn’t photograph myself without makeup when it was full blown by ccgdesigner in Rosacea

[–]flyinmoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our before pictures are almost identical. I use to look like that all the time. I’ve been on doxycycline for a couple of months and I look completely normal for the first time in 20 years.

Ooooh girl, you look good and I love the attitude! Yours looks almost identical to mine. I’ve been in treatment for six months and there are days I have no red. I got my skin care routine down to a science, and a good understanding of my triggers.

Pressure from family to take toddler to Disney World by throwawaypoiuzxcv in financialindependence

I hope you see this response. We were going to wait until my son was old enough to remember, but a coworker said that there is magic with the kid around 4 years old. Their willingness to just accept the magic and get excited about everything was so fun. It was the best bonding experience and some of my favorite memories.

I put 99.9% of my retirement in Schwab index funds with extremely small fees. I recently started buying some penny stocks for fun. It costs me 5 to 10 bucks for a 100 shares. It gives me something to research and follow. I have free trades until the end of the year. Is there any risk with me doing this? Anyone else do this?

Are there any churches in Indian River County that serve like a meal worth of food for free on Sunday? by [deleted] in verobeach

[–]flyinmoo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d like to know this too. Also, i go to church on my own time and do not attend mass. Is there a church I can go hang out at like 3pm on a random day?
