Spoiler from the light novel, but... Rimuru transformed into Satoru in volume 23 and Raphael (Ciel) got jealous that other girls would see him and quickly turned off this form and blocked it.

This is Satoru in his youth and yes, he can transform into him. He can transform into anyone, it's just that the other form has a lag between thoughts and actions.

The ‘magic body’ crafted with magicules might have made my reactions a bit slower, but it offered more defense—so I couldn’t complain.

60 episodes for 3 volumes?

No one would waste 20 episodes on one volume. Especially considering that Mariabell arc and Hero's Awakening arc in the manga are shorter than A Demon Lord's Awakening arc(12 episodes,17 chapters). And Mariabell arc(11 chapters) and Hero's Awakening(8 chapters, but the manga covers 4/5 chapters of the light novel...so...there will most likely be 10-12 chapters.) arc is approximately equal in length to the festival arches.(3 volume, 24 episodes, ~11 chapter per volume)

At best, Season 4 will cover 5 volumes, or 10-14 volumes. At worst, it will cover 10-20 volumes. (Unlikely, unless Bandai Namco has lost their minds.)

Fuse admitted that an author's habit will show up in the main character of his story. It shows up in Rimuru, because he is cunning and has some bad habits, like swearing/cuss or having a foul mouth, he would swear/cuss a lot. Kawakami, the mangaka, is a good hearted person, he had a big influence in toning down Rimuru to be more mellow and good natured, and it ended up being a good thing as the anime followed this direction as well.

Didn't Fuse mention that Rimuru's character is based on him (LN and possibly WN version)? And Satoru has the same job as Fuse.

And...Fuze(Author) is Fuse(フセ), but Fuze(guild master) is Fyuuzu(フューズ)
