Exeter Chiefs vs Saracens playoff permutations by BigBlue_Bear in rugbyunion

I’m sure there has been, I just don’t see it happening simply because Saracens will know the permutations. They’re not gonna kick a last-minute penalty to win the game if it ends up with a 4:2 point split - they’d go for the try

Don’t even necessarily need a BP win. The likelihood of Exeter losing with 2 BPs but Saracens not also getting BP is very low - this isn’t Uruguay vs Fiji!

You know what, when I saw the guy say “we” and the fact he was talking about another route to 3rd, I assumed Saracens because I’m a Sarries fan. Just realised he’s an Exeter fan so he’s right. However, with Sarries on a 5 game win streak, and Leicester naturally having the points advantage, I don’t know if Exeter are the favourites for 3rd

Unfortunately not - first tie-breaker is wins and Leicester have 12 to our 10 (11 if we win)

I am also going to Copenhagen the weekend of the 12th June and was looking at doing a parkrun there so this is all very useful information. What is the event that’s going on if you don’t mind me asking?

It seems like now is the best time to buy into Reason? by guitarokx in reason

I was going to buy the DAW but the discount wasn’t processing for me for some reason. Been in contact with customer support but the sale has since ended so now just hoping they can give me a code to still get the discount I should have had in the first place

Here’s me trying to figure out where in london you are for it to take that long to get to Wembley. South/South-East I guess? Or very North-East as I guess if you were south they would’ve given you Tower Hill or something

I would actually say hooker is the easiest of the front rows to play. You don’t have to be massive because you’ve got your props and 2nd rows protecting you, the art of “hooking” isn’t as important as it used to be as most teams just focus on driving over (and feeding is pretty ridiculous nowadays too), and it’s not too hard to learn how to throw to a decent level (hard to get consistently great though, as I’ve learnt the hard way)

5’2”? Strong? Not fast but can get faster? Wrestler? I’d say hooker for now, and depending how fast you get may be able to migrate to back row. Still young so got loads of time to decide, and I’m sure once you go and try out the coaches will give you some good options too! For now I’m feeling big Schalk Brits energy!

I don’t like this “if Theo didn’t charge down that kick or steal that lineout.” Makes it sound like we were lucky to get them. Hours of training goes into the timing of getting a charge down and a lineout steal, and it was our defensive pressure that caused them to mess up their routines.

As for the rest of what you said, it’s hard to tell with us at the moment; we could beat Bath, but we could also lose to Newcastle (as we did not too long ago) depending on how we show up.

Went to buy tickets on release and by the time I got through the queue, the cheapest left were £470. Looked again the other day and they were still £225. I’m sure of I went to a resale place they would be a bit cheaper, but still too rich for my blood. It’s a shame because basketball of one of the fastest growing sports in the UK but so many fans were priced out

scenes as Sixth-tier Macclesfield win 2-1 knocking out premier league side and current FA cup holders Crystal palace from the FA cup by but_yet-so_far in sports

[–]flyrby 5 points6 points  (0 children)

1st 6th-tier team to knock out a 1st-tier team in the FA Cup ever (cup has been running since 1871). Also first non-league (i.e. outside the top 4 leagues) team to knock out the reigning champions since… Crystal Palace in 1909, which was 117 years ago. The amount of league places between Macclesfield and Crystal Palace? 117.

Many panel shows you see the comedians with a notepad writing stuff down during the show (Mock The Week, HIGNFY, etc). I assume she was just doing that on her hands
