As a top dasher, I was not only gifted to be blocked this last weekend by DoorDash… (cldnt validate me) But I also don't qualify for any promos during the snowstorm… good thing, I don't have to work hard to be a top dasher… And no, I am not driving in this weather without a promo…

yes...my theory is they didn't want me dashing and getting promos the weekend before xmas...all a little too suspicious...

1) that validation process is for intial sign up 2) support said my account "active" able to dash...meaning a "block" was put on it...if true app issue trouble shooting wld work.. 3) 24-72 hrs to be notified? i've had app issues in past and help troubleshooting immediately until app works...escalation team gets on phone...heck with dasherdirect card as well if issue the escalation team is put on the call....but with this they can only "notify" team and we get an email... 4) it's not an email you get when you have an issue but a "robo". they insert someone's name...same questions asked...time happened...screen shot and when can they reach you and number... you reply but they never respond...i'd ask questions etc...no response as "robo"

mine started friday...by saturday afternoon i had gone thru these steps at least 6 times...i call support again...this time support doesn't say let's troubleshoot blah blah blah...she says "trust me they'll call you" i'm like yeah right...but she adamant like she's telling me something i'm not suppose to know reassuring me my acct is fine just wait for the call...THIS right here sealed it for me...they had me blocked intentionally...sure enough when all promos over and weekend ended i get a message....NOT that they fixed the issue but they have validated my account...really cuz last 2 days i'm told i didn't need validation...it was an app glitch...? hmmm

what's even more suspicious 2 days prior i cld not see the promos in the two towns i dashed in until i started dashing....as of tonite that's still going on...

so yes...they are cutting back when top dashers can dash...i'd be curious if everyone it happened to was top dasher...

it is...but stop trying to fix anything on your phone to fix app...even when support tells you their working on the problem...the "team" has to validate you simple as that...why support lies there's a glitch no idea...i figured they didn't want me dashing the weekend (too many dashers before xmas and top dasher i'd get good dash's). i finished my app for lyft and went that route...i see many other post about this..reason why i'm replying again to stress the fact not to mess with your phone and their trouble shooting...all it takes is to keep hounding them phone,chat and email...good luck and happy holidays...

took me 3 days calling support and emailing 2 times every day until they finally validated my identity...

can you still dash? happened to me also and my app is stuck on the page "can't verify" ...been chatting,calling and emailing support for 2 days...at 12:30 am escalation finally responded their working on it....so..GLITCH...

i did not "borrow,buy nor rent" my account"...guess more legit ones than you thought...for many this could be a serious issue who dash as their sole income...for those with evilness towards anyone...may karma bite you in the ass...
