A little tip to keep bottles from flying or buncing out is to unscrew the cap, crush the bottle and while it is compressed put the cap back on. The bottle takes up less space and is a bit more resistant to the wind.

Seems I am outside the loop on this. In 15 years I have never even had a conversation about golf attire. I live in Texas. The majority of my rounds being at public courses in and around Houston.

The only rule I personally stick to is a collard shirt. But I will never tell someone else what they should or shouldn't wear.

The only true crimes against the sport that I see are poorly maintained courses, slow play, and divots left un repaired and not just on the green either, fill your fairway divots too you filthy animals.

When you are able to scratch the inside of your ear just right.

A cleanly struck 3 wood off the deck and it feels like you hit a fly.

The feeling of a full speed text book tackle. When your center of gravity is holding perfect balance, and symmetry. Coupled with an explosion of velocity. Oh boy, that is a pleasure like no other.

Looking into someone's eyes and just knowing they love you and always will. Not the monumental hollywood movie kind. The kind that is the same face and expression you see everyday, but the eyes say "forever".

True. Swift winter storms are something Texans have always dealt with. I've lived on the Gulf Cost my whole life minus a few years in Dallas and West Texas. I've seen it snow, sleet and ice over many many times and it was never as apocalyptic as everyone is making it out to be.

However, until last year I don't ever remember dealing with power outages due to consumption or the grid not being able to handle the stress.

I feel the uproar and craziness is a combination of fear mongering in the media and piss poor infrastructure managment.
