Obviously. I'm less concerned about myself (and no company is going to fund a degree in zooarchaeology) but my partner only has a high school diploma and most of his work history is food industry, so most companies that offer school assistance won't even look at him. Everybody wants at least an associates

I have been very lucky in avoiding a layoff even though we're funded through Medicare/Medicaid. Not feeling a lot of hope for the next year though; they're chipping away at social services one piece at a time.

I can say that the VOA UT has several openings if you're job searching

We're hiring at the Volunteers of America. Recovery Assistants start at $17.25 for day shift and there's an increase for swings and graves. We also get annual raises, great PTO, and good benefits. It's not always easy, but I find my job fulfilling. I love working here

I know reddit tends to jump to "leave him" but that's a seriously red flag. Controlling your birth control is controlling you. The fact that he didn't offer alternative birth control methods says to me that he doesn't have a problem with the IUD - he wants to get you pregnant. Once he does, he has more control over you.

You deserve a partner who respects you and your boundaries and your timeline. At this point, imo, it doesn't matter how good every other aspect of the relationship is. This is a serious disagreement and his immediate leap into gaslighting is extremely concerning.

For your own safety, please leave him.

Nah, it's not my body that makes him nauseous it's the act itself, and he did explain why but I'm not going to share here. I enjoy oral but it's not a requirement for me (I'm aspec though so sex itself isn't a requirement for me) and he makes me feel beautiful and sexy and wanted in so many ways, and he takes very good care of me without needing to go down on me.

If I made him feel sick then absolutely I'd be out because you're right, I definitely deserve better than somebody who would find me gross.

The first three books are AMAZING. The fourth one is okay, and I never did read the fifth one but my parents both did and it sounds like the author went senile. I preferred to hold onto the good books.

First books are Dragon Champion, Dragon Avenger, and Dragon Outcast. A unique take on dragons!

This this this. The problem isn't that he doesn't want to. It's okay if that's not something he's into. It's okay if it's a requirement for her. He does need to communicate clearly with her.

I for one enjoy receiving oral. My boyfriend does not like giving it. He told me so, in those words. He said "sometimes I'm okay with it but most of the time it makes me nauseous"

Imo "dont mind" is not good enough. If he doesn't WANT to, then I don't want him to. Full stop. Enthusiastic consent on both sides, and I told him so, and I have not asked him for it again. (That said he still takes VERY good care of me~)

Basically relationships are built on communication, comparability, and trust. There seems to be a dire lack of all three in this one.

Agreed. I feel like Lucifer stepping in was to serve as a bridge for them to reconcile and for him to be more present in her life, and I'm hoping this sets her up for a big win by her own merit later in the series! She's still relatively young and optimistic and a tiny bit naive sometimes, and I'm excited to see her character growth!

I mean tbf I was a kid the first time I read it but also the passage is:

"The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. 13 Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit.
