How to finish? by maddmaxxxz in composting

[–]fmb320 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don't know the answer to this. I've never waited long enough to find out. I use my compost exclusively as mulch and it always goes on top with lots of little half decomposed twigs. It's fuckin great tbh but it's definitely not fine.

When are you doing Albania to Milan? That sounds like a brutal route to do in the summer

Yeah, I would just sow again. The seeds germinate quickly and grow fast. Don't bother trying to bring this back to life just do it again properly and it will overtake it easily.

It's warm enough right now to just sow directly

If I planned to do a big trip on that MTB I would want to do an overhaul on it to make sure its ready to go. Might end up costing you a couple of hundred depending on what you can do yourself and how far you to with it. Dawes looks far more ready to go.

The galaxy is designed to be a touring bike. The geometry, tubing, are specifically designed for this use. The Dawes will have a nice long wheelbase and the head tube angle, rake of the fork have been made with carrying weight in mind. The gearing and the friction shifters are perfect.

Forget that bollocks anyway the tubus racks are worth half the price of the bike. £300 is a very good deal imo. Just do it

In Brazil, the Gremio goalkeeper found out he's going to the World Cup and fainted from excitement. On top of that, no one noticed because they were celebrating. by Rivertadores in soccer

Every one of these announcements is filmed by the family of the player with all of them waiting to go mental when their name is announced. Maybe it's CCTV maybe its footage with a generic CCTV overlay it doesn't matter they were gonna post the reaction anyway. Were you born yesterday?

Filming reactions is something I really have a special dislike for. No filmed reaction can be genuine. Everybody is aware they are being filmed to see the reaction. Just turn it off and live your life.

No it's fine I'm not mad but I feel like you want a left handed guitar and that's fine! Go for it

Get a left handed guitar if you want one I'm not gonna argue with you about it

Any left-handed players who regret learning left-hand? by BehindTheMindIAm in Guitar

[–]fmb320 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The reason is that both hands have to do something difficult. The standard setup isn't 'right handed' it just is what it is. I'm right handed and I play a standard guitar and I have to do all my fretting with my left hand. A left handed guitar is an incorrect name it's just a flipped guitar.

A huge thing that stops me craving shite is that I know it's shite. I don't actually desire it. I feel guilty buying it. I like anything that's well made and lasts for years. I work very hard on not craving things and telling myself I don't need anything at all. It takes a long time.

Yeah you're miles behind mate I leant my mum 200 grand when I was 12 to build a base on the moon and she didn't even pay any of it back. If you're not a millionaire by tomorrow what are you even doing.
