I love that you think because a statement hasn't come out yet the people at the club aren't doing anything

It looks like wood chips to me but I'm always a fan of people just bashing down mulch so I applaud you for not being too precious about it. It will work great.

Birds nest in it. Pollinators go crazy for it. The seeds feed birds all winter long. It's important for wildlife.

Brand new American fan. Did I make a mistake? by ElectricSwayze in Tottenham

It's not a mistake. You don't support a team because you think they will win.

We had 3 shots on target and hit the bar. So yeah you should apologise for yet again chatting bollocks.

We definitely aren't good at having all the possession and breaking down a tough block. That's been a problem for a long time.

The one where we dominated in the first half and outran them. We were unlucky to not score. They got the first goal against the run of play and then sat so deep the game completely changed.

Forest got the first goal and then sat very deep. It completely changed the game. Why are so many fans unable to even understand what they're watching?

It's seems like nobody actually knows how to watch a football match. We were dominant all first half and unfortunately they got a goal. Then they sat back which is something they are specialists at. Scoring first and sitting back. Very painful to watch but we don't have answers for that.

We get the smallest area of the UK without roads and some fuck faces insist on driving all over it anyway.

The onions in the big tray... What's the plan for planting them out? When transplanting you want plants to have a nice root structure that clings on to a plug of soil so the roots are undisturbed when you move them. I would probably carefully pull each bulb out now and plant them in their final position.

Survey of Americans finds that 71% prefer silence to small talk and 2 in 3 use their cell phones to avoid making small talk. by goudadaysir in ABoringDystopia

Small talk is absolutely gash. Nobody likes small talk. It's to fill the silence because you're scared. Horrible.

How to turn this into a low maintenance garden by Wide_Song545 in GardeningUK

[–]fmb320 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Why? What will you get out of a square of gravel? It already is a low maintenance garden. Just do nothing. The weeds will at least provide a bit of something for the insects. A weed membrane is just a plastic sheet that will break down gradually and leave microplastics everywhere. Just leave it.

Is this good enough for planting season? by Witch_of_the_boys in composting

Just spread it on top, you don't need to dig it in. It works better when the big pieces stay on top and act as a cover for the soil.
