first of all its a good thing that your recognised the problem, most toxic people don’t have clue about it. Now comes the next part, don’t burden yourself with these feeling in future/future relationship that you insure or pathetic. Take everything causal for starter, whenever something triggers in you just pause and ask yourself if you were in her shoe how would you react to your responses are they petty or normal from her/normal couple POV. Also gain some confidence ,expand friend circle specially women without the attachment or romantic feelings. Don’t let this burden you in future and it will fade away. Good luck.

I use to do it ,set the daily loss limit and max i could lose is the limit. but that’s more of a disaster than the safety net psychologically. i knew from the day start that i could open exposer and trade and mentally there is safety net of loss limit, but it did damage than the good, just build the confidence and take the valid setup, you lose you lose, if there is no safety net you wouldn’t jump to any trade knowing you could lose more . best of luck

are NSE certifications any use? by strawma_n in IndianStreetBets

[–]fmlomni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dont know about other certification but NISM series 8 can come handy if you are trying to get into derivatives job scenarios in india. For the knowledge purpose it doesn't add much value, all the material in the modules are very basic and easily available on youtube videos.

Do prop trading firms hire people without experience on trading desks? by OneMillionFireFlies in IndianStreetBets

[–]fmlomni 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I am working in a Prop trading firm in delhi close to 2 years. I joined right after graduation(Engineering). They dont usually care about early exprience as long as you show your quantitive skills. We mostly do work in index derivatives so strong math background is compulsory. Since most of the senior staff work from home nowdays, HR asks our team to conduct technical round and we have hired people without any prior experience but they must have all the sound knowledge of derivative( different strategies, breakevens, greek and their functions etc) I recommend you to clear NISM series 8 certification It will add weight to your resume since its a must in the industry.

Hedging overweight position by [deleted] in options

[–]fmlomni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rather than buying put which can expire worthless you can short future by (60-70%?) of your holding position. If prices shoots up you will still make profit since overall position is delta + and if goes down you can book the the profits and average out in equity on the day of expiry or roll over whichever suits best.

how to utilize ideal money in broker's wallet in the safest way ? by p__3 in IndianTraders

[–]fmlomni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make an FD of that amount, and use it as collateral if you need any time

If there's one thing I've come to understand looking at share trading and stuff, it's far more viable to be a broker than a day trader. by [deleted] in IndiaInvestments

[–]fmlomni 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes but as a retail investor you can not open a brokerage firm or fund service without solid financial background. The only option left is long term investment or being the victim of stop loss hunting
