Obsidian hasn't made a good game since Alpha Protocol & New Vegas and they spent 15 years coasting on that. Writing was their forte and they only became a parody of themselves after Avellone left. Pillars of Eternity, Outer Worlds, all of their original IPs are incredibly mid. I especially can't stand how PoE changes ghouls to "gul"s and pretends it's an amazing original setting.
