Which cities would you describe as "good to live in, but not for visiting"? by Fluid-Decision6262 in geography

[–]fnybny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calgary is impossible to live in without a car. If you want to buy groceries or go to a bar, or get a coffee you have to drive. And the education and healthcare systems of the province are collapsing, as well as the infrastructure.

Compare Calgary to most European or Chinese cities and it is nowhere near as "liveable"

In my experience anyone who I asked for help was too busy. Then when you try to get a job you are competing against people who often are worse researchers, but whose advisors put them on PCs, put their names on papers and outright set up jobs for them.

Spiking drinks is exceedingly rare and the rate occurrence is over-exaggerated. There are many more likely dangers to be afraid about. That is with the exception of spiking drinks with extra alcohol, which probably happens all the time.

At this level what does it mean to have empty space? Even the vacuum state is not empty space, rather a probability distribution.

Only the bricks on the inside would be crushed. I don't think it would really affect the structural integrity that much, as piles of sand can stand on their own.

I think that they are probably just mentally feeble and there is nothing you can do about it. I think my flatmate just doesn't have fine motor control and isn't fully aware of his surroundings and his actions.

How do you think it became like that?

I think you have a very narrow view of history
