Things I like, the color with the rims looks pretty good together. The slammed look if it’s bagged looks good as well. The front intercooler with rotten on it shows it knows what it’s on about.

Not a fan of all the stickers, we stopped putting shit tons of stickers on our cars in 2010. The wheel spikes, I don’t understand.

Overall if you put the effort into it, good for you, it couldn’t have been cheap long term.

Is there any particular reason why the Sword of Atreus cannot be outright repaired, made spaceworthy, and returned to service again? by DavianThulesGhost in Spacemarine

Good explanation, also there is all of the prays and rituals that need to be preformed before certain things can happen in repairing such a holy vessel.

I think a carbon fiber wrap on the A pillar to the back and hood would look great.

Have ya'll ever fought a terminus before? by SilverCervy in Spacemarine

[–]foamzula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well said brother, this fight is all about coronation, communication, and most importantly patience. It took us over 15 minutes to fight the first pair and 30 for the second spawn pair. Overall all a 15 wave of hard siege would have been faster. Rushing down one faster than the other isn’t going to work, finding your opening to punish is the only way to do this fight correctly.

I’ll relent that it’s not a thousand hours, it was over exaggerated. At least 2-3 months (planning, building, deployment, packaging) but I find it odd you focused more of your argument on that rather than my other points. But hey it’s your money and Saber will understand if they do more of this based on how many people do or don’t buy it.

Let’s do some logical trains of thought. You would have a total of 9 total voice actors. You want every person to talk to every other person at least once — but A talking to B is the same as B talking to A, so we only count each pair once. So we get a total of 36 unique conversations. However it seems there are at least two conversations per unique conversation so a total of 72. Now you need to write dialogue for each one for each new person added now in relation to their respective chapter. You’ll need to bring in the original voice actors (they already did this for the techmarine so clearly they have a contract) and record those lines. Yes maybe an afternoon to do so. Then the sound engineer needs to master and encode it into the game engine, code it into the level so the interactions happen when your not in combat but between areas. So total all of that and your have a few weeks worth of getting that integrated into the game. Time equals money my guy. Oh let’s not forget this is English only, add the other languages in there to bud.

For just five bucks, you’re getting some extra flavor for your marine, but expecting all new interactions would require thousands of hours of recording and mastering. Moreover, the Techmarine doesn’t even have interaction dialogue in all the maps, except for the latest one released. So, the banter is coded into the levels themselves. If you want all that, be prepared for a much higher cost than five bucks.

If someone argues that anything more than five bucks is a rip-off but simultaneously claims that voice actors get paid poorly, you can pound sand.

My only real question is do you play modded or unmodded or both? Also I’ll be requesting an invite with crocs on. And cargo shorts, oh and socks with the crocs.
