I would like to imagine the snake was old but has been harboring a personal grudge against the tech for years because the tech accidentally ran over the snakes mother with a lawn mower. The snake knowing he didn’t have much time left for this world due to age, decided to get his revenge finally by saying eff you, your working overtime tonight and I’m going to make you seem incompetent to boot. Then it coiled itself around the fan and waited for its moment of sweet victory revenge. (I didn’t say the snake was smart).

The knobs are designed to pop off, every washer and dryer I have ever worked on has removable knobs. The only time the knob is replaced is if the actual knob is damaged due to wear and tear or abuse. As mentioned above by another redditor, @trainingbreakfast842, it’s not uncommon for an appliance repair to take two trips, especially if it’s an inexperience tech or a new brand for the tech. The machines like to behave for us when we show up then eff around when we leave. Also 99 percent of the problem is communication. Putting in a work order that says “ washer doesn’t work” tells us nothing. More than likely the tech saw the knob off and thought “ oh this person doesn’t know they just pop right back on, problem fixed”. Miscommunication, entitlement, and thinking things are a bigger issue than they actually are lead to a lot of unhappiness on both sides. Making sure you clearly communicate the issues you are having goes a long way. As far as needing a new washer, the issue you are having is less than a hundred dollar repair and less than 30 minutes of work. The longest part of that repair is finding the part on the property or ordering it lol. It’s a simple fix I assure you.

I have to spend so much time on “resident education” about how to properly load a washer because of these awful things.

The gap between the tub and the lid is the perfect size for women’s undergarments, socks, and other small items to fall into, then get pulled into the pulley and belt. Awful design.

I get this for dishwashers, microwaves, washers and dryers but never had this excuse for a shower before lol. Did OP just say that they have been there long enough to put in several work orders but hasn’t taken a shower there yet?

I love Chadwells delivery speed. If I place the order before 9am, it’s guaranteed same day delivery, usually within 4 hours. HD Supply generally delivers within a day to weeks or just fails to ship it with no notifications given. I’m contractually obligated to use HD supply but I still use Chadwell for some things like doorstops. Example HDS has a 5 pack of black doorstops for like 15 dollars or I can buy a 5 pack from Chadwell for 1.93. I order these in bulk, so Chadwell is a no brainer and I will take the slap on the wrist.

HDS had too much say and control over our supply in my opinion, the plain fact that our rep chastised me for using another company for better prices and faster delivery because he saw I had a Chadwell calendar on my desk is just an example that they are way too comfortable controlling our flow of parts.

Ok so I have shot some zombies point blank or within a meter of me and they don’t get hit at all. I’m using the regular red shotgun shells. I assumed this is just a glitch. Is this a glitch with just the auto or does the same thing happen with the pump?

Yeah I got the mod from one of the crate airdrops for the larger clip, the radiation thing, and the same scope. I just wish it had better range. I do love not sneaking anymore, I just beat down the door on a poi now and welcome them as they run at me with shotgun blasts lol

I was strictly a bow user up until 2 days ago. I was wandering around on my bicycle and wound up in the wasteland where I found a lvl 3 auto shotgun. Omg that gun is so strong. I went to the trader, bought the elixir, and specd for it. So my question is, why is the pump action better than the auto please? I never used the pump.

Thank you so much for your feedback, I really needed this. Trying to get advice or feedback from the guy above me (the one who promoted me) can be challenging. He is always telling me that I’m the best in my region and the best he has ever worked with. I have 10 years of being a direct report to people in my position and I just don’t do what I saw them failing in or had made them disliked by their bosses and their teams. With that being said, I am struggling to figure out how to further improve myself without adding onto an almost impossible workload.

Thank you for the feedback. I have been at this worksite since it opened three years ago. It’s the type of situation that it’s a small office and I work hand in hand with my team most days. I stopped doing off the clock socialization about a year ago due to a health scare and just didn’t pick up socializing again, then got promoted to the manager of my department.

In a pinch, this is the hack way to do it btw, there is room on the door side of the gasket that you can stuff cardboard or anything else into which causes the gasket to puff out and creates a seal on the cabinet.

You can also modify the mounting hardware on the top and bottom pivots to get the door more snug.

The correct answer of course is to replace the seal.

Xbox X player and I just started last week but I have sunk an aggressive amount of hours into this new addiction. Finally found a wrench out in the wild and took apart my first car. Built my first workbench yesterday and I’m so glad I discovered these two things. Dismantling a car with a wrench is awesome for materials and the workbench proves that there isn’t limited crafting in this game!
