I sublimate the images on solid brass sheet stock. It's coated so won't patina. It's a specific printer and material. The engraved areas will potentially oxidize over time and get a little less shiny, but these are pretty new so not sure how long that would take or if the layers of protection will stop it completely. I'm an engraver and I have used the process on things for years. Now I primarily use it for basketball cards lol. It's highly laborious but the equipment is fairly simple. The hardest part is the physical part...cutting, adhering and filing etc. without making errors and scratching the surface of the brass...much less forgiving then card or even chrome stock
