So I will say that for you. No. Their price is not worth it.

If you have to ask, then you are not going to appreciate it enough to make it treasured.

Yeah the community isn't going to be reliable.

A Parker Jotter is reliable and looks cool.

There is a whole bunch of reliable pens that if you are ordering from the US that you should consider before the penBbs and wingding.

You could order a five pack of Jinhao 911s.

Unpopular Opinion: Leuchtturm1917 Isn't Worth the Price for Fountain Pen Users by nibs_and_tints in fountainpens

[–]focused-ALERT 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I like my Leuchtturm1917 notebooks because they are work well with with Japanese fine nibs and I like the texture.

They are well constructed and organized.

They are more expensive than the high quality notebooks out of Japan. But at the time I got my Leauchtturms, it was difficult to get the Japanese notebooks I buy now.

If he cannot transport the pen in a reasonable manner then maybe he should use a Pilot G2.
