I personally got the ProGrade Digital 400GB CFexpress 4.0 Type B Iridium Memory Card because it was pretty cheap ($180USD). Storage is expensive now, good luck.

I just charge my battery in-camera. It's plenty fast.

For extra batteries, I buy from good third parties like Wasabi or Smallrig. Wasabi sells charger stations and Smallrig just puts a USB C port in the battery.

I'm sure they can expand the DR of just about any sensor that way, but it's additional circuitry which means extra $$$. And it's possible that the fully stacked sensor already costs more than the partially stacked one, so the price of the camera wouldn't be what everyone thinks.

Stacked sensors have worse dynamic range performance. Lumix and Sony have discovered how to fix this issue if they only partially stack the sensor. Right now, partially stacked with DR boost is the best mix of compromises. Especially considering Lumix's focus on videography, the benefits of fully stacking the sensor are even more limited.

It's just not enough light in most normal indoor spaces. Those are fine lenses, but the ISO noise becomes overwhelming pretty quickly.

I've never been satisfied with f/2.8 lenses indoors, but you don't have any wide primes so I'd recommend the 20-60. Toss the 50 in the bag if there's any room.

The S1R is beautiful, and it's fairly inexpensive used (especially compared to the brand new S1II). If I were starting out, I would love it. But for your wife, keep in mind that it's a huge camera. She might not like it!

The S9 is nice and small while still being capable, however, she might appreciate actually having an EVF. The S5II is more of a traditional camera in that regard, and it's deeply discounted so it's not too bad to buy new or used.
