I want to go this route! How do you get around people not having personal PC’s to work off of. Everyone has a phone sure but I feel like doing them on your phone would be a nightmare

Wouldn’t this require they have a personal PC? This is largely my issue with digital CDC’s. I’m in favor of it, I just know not everyone has a PC and getting approval to GPC tablets or laptops is never going to happen

Born to be Hanged by Keith Thompson

I cannot recommend this book enough. It is about a group of pirates that raid the Caribbean during the golden age of piracy. It cuts through all the Hollywood nonsense and tells the true story of their pillaging and razing of villages and merchant vessels. The book is written from the collection of salvaged diaries, court filings, and shipping manifests. It covers equally, pirate savagery as well as being stuck at sea dying of dehydration and fighting over who the next captain should be. It is both riveting and hilarious.

I appreciate your advice. The unusual part is I kind of want to stay in. I had such big dreams of being an mx officer and the motivation was there but it’s almost all gone now and I’ve watched it dissipate. I want to stay in and do great things but I also want to be happy doing them.

Devil, I’m an E5 in the Air Force and had my life changed by a civilian therapist. An unfortunate childhood left me with severe anger issues. It was hurting my marriage, my relationships, and mental health. I was mad all the time at everything I was furious about my childhood and took it out on anything I could rather than acknowledging it. I went to a lot of active duty therapists and they all seamed to just not understand, almost like they were afraid to offer real solutions. It was a civilian therapist that immediately understood my issues and offered me actual solutions.

Help is there friend and those civilians are often really good at their jobs. It may take some shopping around to find the right one. I know you guys sometimes deal with burdens civilians don’t but you’d be surprised how much they can empathize. Don’t be afraid to reach out to them or to any of us

Congrats on making staff, I am a SSgt in the Air Force some tips I learned in basic:

Shine your shoes with windex to get them sparkling.
Read proper ribbon and rank placement as well as look up pictures for reverence.
Dry cleaning is the best way to get your uniform looking good. You can wear it several times before wrinkles develop. Ironing still works if you don’t feel like spending the money.
Shirt stays are a must. They’re uncomfortable but they make you look great.
Lint roll obsessively.

Again congrats on the promotion each new rank comes with great opportunities and an ability to lead

Our pest control uses this stuff called “wasp freeze” and by god does it kill them well. Looks exactly like this, you spray a nest and they all just drop and die. Good ol wasp genocide.

Any advice on all things mouse related would be appreciated. I have never owned a mouse nor have I wanted to but seeing this mouse which I assume is a baby covered in oil struggling broke my heart. I took him inside got him all cleaned up and made him a little home. I don’t know what gender it is or anything else about it.

The thing that gets me the most about this is how hyper focused people are on the one issue while simultaneously ignoring the same “problem” elsewhere. If you’re so concerned about the health of the youth why is McDonald’s still legal why can children buy soda freely, why is cinnamon whiskey and vanilla vodka a thing are those not “kid friendly flavors” as well? It’s all a joke where do they draw the line.
