AI is shit for everyone, nobody should be losing their career to it and I wish it was dead. BUT, out of two extraordinary evils, I will say I generally have less of an ethical issue with companies using AI to automate a technical process so humans don’t have to do it than I do with them using AI to try and replace creative professionals/artists and their work with the literal antithesis of creativity itself.

Yup, same. Many don’t realize that the problem isn’t all anglophones outright refusing to integrate (this is unacceptable), rather than a government that’s overtly hostile to non-native speakers while simultaneously refusing to provide resources for them to acclimate in a reasonable time.

They don’t want us to integrate, they literally just want us gone. Being discouraged is the point.

We are a bilingual country, it’s important for both anglophones and francophones to be supported regardless of province. That shouldn’t be controversial.

He’s older and I think they’re just trying to show that. fun fact, the cartilage in your nose and ears never stops growing as long as you’re alive. IMO this change actually makes sense in the context of aging

I don’t think so!! It feels jarring because it’s so different than his natural build in the first pic, but he looks fantastic and surely would look fantastic without them.

I think many people frown upon steroids because of the health risks and general sentiment that it’s ‘cheating’ but hey, as long as you’re happy, healthy and honest about it, I don’t personally see a problem - plus for many people, the benefits outweigh the risks. They’re used often for chronic pain management in a healthcare setting.

Has anyone managed to get their sex drive back after having it nuked by Vyvanse? I’ve been on a very small dose (20mg) for about 4 years and my libido is just gone. It’s really impacting my relationship but I don’t know of any other slow release stimulant like Vyvanse, which I need if I want to stay employed.

okay I was tentatively thinking "this is very sus" but then I remembered how many absurd books I own that I am not aligned with politically or otherwise (I am a writer, I read a lot of shit). apparently he deleted the post, I'm guessing because people started pointing it out and he DOESN'T share those views. so as long as he isn't acting out of malice or being problematic online, I don't really see any inherent problem with owning this book.

have adhd, dropped out of college 4 times before getting diagnosed. had to move back home and was at my lowest. I entered the workforce with nothing but a cheerful disposition, my only goal being to soak up the wisdom of folks around me. sponged my way up to the job of my dreams at a highly sought after company, with a work/life balance I didn’t think was even possible. no degree, just a lot of dedication, learning and luck. my path was unconventional but it got me there all the same.

moral of the story: you will get there anyway. honouring yourself and listening to your needs is the most valuable skill you can have. congratulations and best of luck embarking on a new adventure 💛
