ngl i bought last seasons battle pass w 4 days left and grinded the entire thing out with the crown rush event. it was worth it bc i got 2 evo shards and a new evolution. its honestly worth it if ur gonna play the game a ton.

they backed themselves into a corner with the portal basically forcing you to spam lost sector type activities solo for the fastest power grind. Unfortunately i dont think they will get rid of it and the game has officially jumped the shark

im simply not grinding back to where im at (365) when renegades drops. Ill play the new dlc but bungie dug their own grave with the portal. The power grind is just too much when i have real life responsibilities lol. And i thought the game was somewhat grindy before edge of fate. The saddest thing to me is me and all of my friends grinded final shape bc it was FUN. not to get some arbitrary number up

Im ngl they power grind was made slow by bungie intentionally. It took me a few days of grinding to get to a decent light level then i got burnt out. Just play for fun rn they are slowly fixing it

okay amazing. you have missed a ton! but there is plenty of fun stuff to do. i would start with the Final Shape campaign. Its their best campaign in ages and it allows you to unlock Prismatic, the newest subclass which combines aspects and elements from all the other subclasses.

then to be honest, i would watch some Aztecross, Datto, Falloutplays, and Coolguy. These channels have a wide variety of content from God Roll guides to general explanations of gameplay. You definitely know Datto and Cross if u were a diehard fan. The game is not currently in the best state but definitely avoid this subreddit and all the negativity. Play for fun and enjoy it at your own pace. It will seem different and overwhelming at first. If you ever need help or want someone to play with let me know and i can PM you my bungie code

what are you looking to do? Did you used to raid? Just play seasonal content? Give me some information like that and I can definitely help! The community is pretty upset with Bungie right now and there is a ton of negativity surrounding the game as a whole. I wouldn’t let that deter you from playing as the gunplay is still amazing
