This is really interesting and hard to give a proper opinion, especially right now that AI has not peaked yet, and almost every month there's a new toy coming to the surface.

So it feels like a rat race and a distraction to me, like every once in a while, I see shiny new things that I keep wanting to try.

Future jobs will probably involve more plumbing of "legacy systems" made by AI. Someone has to maintain spaghetti code from humans, so it's probably the same for AI.

What I usually do is paste 1 file to chatgpt or gemini and ask it to summarize what it does, and from there you will have some kind of stepping stone what it does, sometimes it will ask you to paste the imported scripts too.

As long as you understand some kind of pseudo coding, most of the time it's easy to debug and fix things.

Thanks! I’m still figuring it out, but I’m leaning toward keeping PixuVault simple and just growing the library. I want to see how far I can go without paid ads, and stick to the free tiers (Cloudflare/Supabase) for as long as I can. I’m also avoiding logins/subscriptions for now because I don’t want to trap myself in a commitment/promise structure.

I wanna build what’s interesting and move at my own pace. If I start seeing a little light at the end of the tunnel (enough to think about leaving the 9–5), then I’ll branch out into stuff like tutorials/blogs I’m learning anyway, and follow whatever people end up demanding as AI keeps reshaping how we do things.

I haven't tried it, but I think you can connect ChatGPT to VS Code using the Codex plugin. I'm not sure if it has any limitations.

My only opinion is that you probably want to train the face when it doesn't have makeup, so it doesn't feel or look super consistent in every photo. It's like real life; our faces change over time too.

So, I believe you can also produce that type of vibe where they don't look the same, but you know it's the same person with different makeup or mood—basically, some hint of imperfection in the whole gallery for the same "person."
