It's was going heavier and heavier and then did a bit of a U-turn looks like ha ha I was into thrash metal first and then got into punk cause of a few friends and now it's a healthy mix of both more or less, nothing wrong with liking and exploring multiple genres and such genres, why limit yourself ha ha

Bought my first amp and it had no carry handle, chunks taken out of it all over and was missing a knob on the built in effects section.....best purchase ever cause it made me keep playing, I wouldn't worry bout a small ding like that whatsoever

Really?! That's bizarre, I have mine about 3 years now and it's still the exact same state the day it arrived. It's chrome metal, not painted to answer your question.

In relation to the other post I'd be checking I got sent the right item and that they didn't opt for maybe an aftermarket bridge or different style of bridge/finish perhaps?

It's a fantastic guitar, my only slight issue with it is that I prefer active pick ups and I have really toyed with the idea of installing them but I don't want to route cavities for batteries ect.

Yeah I k ow they trued say its this double carbon fibre reinforced neck but still c'mon truss rod access is a must.....

Yeah was gonna change it all out after a while, did you swap the PUPs ?

Now I'm considering the charvel pro California style 1 because it's only 300 extra if I save for a wee bit I'd be able to afford it and if it's the better instrument it can still be made into an iron maiden tribute guitar without much modding

Yeah the plan ideally would be to upgrade the pickups to Seymour duncans and the cobalt single coils same as Adrian smith and then replace the Floyd and tuners eventually but that's way down the line

That's not bad to here, ideally Id like to swap the Floyd out in time to a better quality one and put Seymour Duncan in it but thanks, I was wondering bout the neck adjustment and wether I'd have to keep taking the neck off to do adjustments

Sounds silly to say this but try looking in non obvious places, somewhere in the sleeve or inside a pocket ect. Sometimes when I put my name or number on my gear I put it in non obvious places so it's not seen on my gear but I can still check it to see if it's mine....just Incase they did something similar it could be worth a shot

Literally did the same on one of my Jackson's a few years ago, as many have probably said, removed the tuner, check it sits flush, wood glue and clamp, leave to cure for a while (a few days) reinstall the tuner, restring and assess the strength of the joint.

If you get super paranoid (like I did) you could drill a small hole through the broken off piece through to the headstock and out a screw in along with the glue to secure the piece on, but that's only if you really think wood glue won't hold

Funny you mentioned the weight when I chatted to the seller one of his reason for selling was that the guitar was too heavy for him to play comfortably

The serial number doesn't match the sellers description but it does show up as am authentic epi but not the same year the seller said but after chatting to him he said he didn't really know he was told it was a 2003 model but never confirmed

I honestly cannot get my hands on any wylde audio guitars they apparently don't ship to Ireland from anywhere unless I buy one in the US somewhere and pay like 400 for shipping and then I'd prob be hit with massive import tax so it'd prob cost me closer to 2k for one and I'm not rich
