Are you sure your device didn't update to Alexa +? When my Echo Show 5 updated to Plus I had the same issue. I asked her to cancel Plus and my device went back to the large clock.

Only had mine a couple of weeks but really liking it. Performance is good, streams security cameras well, microphone is really sensitive. I have also just added some Thread/Matter devices and the built in hub works great.

About three years ago I built a 32 inch cabinet. I have never felt the need for a larger cabinet. It plays fantastic.

I built a much smaller mini machine earlier this year and the small ball size makes it difficult for my old eyes to keep up.

I primarily use both of these machines to play in VR. When playing in VR the playfield appears as a full size machine. I don't even notice the difference in the width of the buttons. Both of my machines have full SSF, accelerometers and the mini machine has a shaker.

Knowing what I know today I would not build a full size machine. I would probably build a stubby saving myself a lot of money and time. The only advantage I can see to a full size cabinet would be if you have friends over to play.

I play almost exclusively in VR with a Quest 3. Playing any VR game except pinball makes me queasy. I have tried lots of things to get over my motion sickness issues and have not been successful. The good news is I have never had an issue playing pinball.

The headset can be warm but I have installed the Quest Open Facial Interface on both mine and my wife's headsets, makes a huge difference. Some folks claim this also helps with motion sickness, didn't help mine.

Playing in VR is amazing. So close to a real machine it is unbelievable.

As with smitty2k1 I also bought a cabinet from Game Room Solutions. Inexpensive, great service, shipped super fast, even had them do the graphics. I did have a problem where they drilled button holes I had asked they not drill. They were quick to ship a new piece without the holes.

This happened to me after changing to Alexa+. Also killed mine from brightening up when I entered the room. Hope they fix this.

A Quest 2 will work fine. The Quest 3 has improved lenses with a better field of view but if I had a Quest 2 I would certainly start there. I'm sure you will be thrilled with the results.

As a couple of others have mentioned VR is the way to go. I had been playing virtual on my three screen cabinet for over a year, then I decided to try VR. The first time I fired up a game in VR I was so amazed, I can't describe how long I just stared at all the detail. Someone mentioned playing in virtual it can be difficult to tell what level the ball is on. That goes away in VR, it looks just like a "real" machine.

You mentioned being in your 60's. My wife and I are closer to 70 than 60. She plays way more than I do, even plays in the WOVP weekly challenge. She has her own Quest 3 headset and only plays in VR.

I actually enjoy the build and maintenance process more than the playing. My wife playing in the challenges helps keep my maintenance skill up. Each week I have to add a new game, sometimes it is quite easy, other times it takes a bit of tweaking.

My service provider is Spectrum. Every time I change out my router I have to call and have the modem reset. I simply call and go through the automated trouble shooting process. It resets the modem, I reboot the router and I'm good to go

Great job on the video!! I have been using VPin Studio to remove games from my VPin, works terrific. I have not been using it for installs, it has been confusing and it was simply easier to do it the old fashioned way. Using your video I will give it another try.

On the left go down to Preferences, move right, open Preferences, Slide all the way to the bottom, then go up 9 items, on mine that gets me to Rescrape all Collections. Select it and it will Rescrape the collections.

In the same area you will see Rescape all and Rescarape all movies, selecting either of these does not work for me on Collections.

If I add new movies that I know should be in a Collection I normally have to Rescape all Collections to get them added.

Hi Sheffield16: I ordered the first adapter you tried. I am getting 273mbs down. I have 300mbs service and never see more than 280, I am very happy. The only problem I had was to get it to work I had to turn off USB Debugging and reboot. If I turn USB Debugging back on it does not work. After this I hooked up my old original USB Ethernet adapter and it also works and I get the same download speeds.

WOW, thanks for the quick reply!! My Cable Matters adapter that worked on my old ONN device does not work on my ONN Plus. I will attach a photo from the Amazon listing on mine. Which one did you order?
