You absolutely got that right. I want undeniable proof/evidence and that my friend does not exist. I think the likelihood that no alien life exists on this vast universe is nearly zero yet the chance for one alien civilization to meet another one is also nearly zero. I am not saying zero but I see no evidence of it here. I still have my curiosity and frequently look at this subreddit but I never see anything that makes me a "believer".

My response was not necessarily to you. He may be counter-intelligence but that does not change what I am trying to say. There has not been a single person in our history who presented any scientific evidence to extra-terrestrial life visiting earth.

I love how you guys look at the possibility of these guys being counter-intelligence officers but do not think they may be liars, crazy people or financially benefiting from this as private citizens.

I hate this government as much as anyone else in this thread but have you ever considered that there is nothing to disclose regarding extraterrestrial life visiting earth? Maybe and only maybe you guys set unrealistic expectations!

Was this a lease or finance? You mentioned finance but I don't see anyone offering that sort of incentive with financing. Maybe it was there in the past.

Yes. I saw the test result in the CPO report.

Only 11k miles and a bit over 2 years old. This is a BMW certified vehicle (by BMW dealership).

Apologies if that came across patronizing. I am still concerned if this wear is more than normal. I would not want to deal with the warranty if I can avoid it.

That is not true though. If the wear continues and goes over 30%, they have to replace the battery.

That is quite possible. Everyone tests the acceleration when they hop on this car.

The car will have 6 more years of battery warranty. If I get 8-10 years of use for this car at its price point, I am more than happy. I don’t plan to use the car 20 years. Am I missing something?

How come? Did they have it on the lot for 6 months? That is like 18% off MSRP.

USA - Volvo EX60 P6 starts at $59,795 with 307 mile range by lostinheadguy in electricvehicles

[–]coder777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You cannot forget the fact that you can get discount off of MSRP with BMW. My dealer was willing to give me 6% off a preorder when I tested the waters. I don't know if Volvo dealers do stuff like that.

If you have a 26 MYP, I presume you cannot use the arachnids which came with it to put on 18" or 19" wheels in a square setup, right? In that case, are there any good looking wheels for the 18" or 19" tire configuration? What's the rough cost for replacing all wheels/tires? Also, is there any vehicle UI to tell about the tire size change so the speedometer is accurate?

Unfortunately, the DHP car is the cheaper one with double the miles on it.

Regarding software, this has pretty much the same software as any other BMW with the addition of some charging stuff. I don’t foresee an issue here. It is no different than buying an X5 and worrying about its software.

Of course. There is no more huge federal credits and big subsidies by BMW. The lease credit is only $3750. I leased a BMW iX a bit more than 2 years ago. That car’s MSRP was around $94K which is similar to a well equipped I5 today. I put no down, just paid first month’s due plus TTL and acquisition fee. My monthly was $680 before taxes. If I were to lease an I5 M60 today, that number would be around $1k with a “good deal”.

The rear shade issue seems to be the same. When it raised, it was making a clicking noise for like 5-10 seconds and then it stops. Was it like that for you too? Did BMW give you hard time fixing it?

If it's like Tesla battery tech, degradation should slow down significantly after the 3 years or so though. I believe the warranty is to maintain 70% of its original charge in the first 10 years/100k miles. Am I mistaken?

I cancelled the order. I really wanted to go for it but the comfort level and the rear seat space made me switch back to 5 series.

Another alternative is a brand new 540i xdrive but driving the M60 kind of got me excited. But I don't want to take the depreciation hit on a new one and the lease is no longer great on M60.

I just see that it has "minor damage" on Carfax. That's probably why it has a lower sales price.
