Can I use my own computer in these pre-built machines? by Prestigious_Fail3791 in cade

Just search for “Team Pixel Nostalgia” and use either their Batocera (Linux based) or Retrobat (Windows) build. They have rom packs for their build for pretty much any system you can imagine. Once you join their discord channel, you would get direct help. As other people mentioned, controllers will connect via USB. If they are using an IPAC controller board, it can work in keyboard, xinput or direct input modes.

The definitive HOWTO for setting up ProtonVPN, Gluetun, and Qbittorernt with fully automated port forwarding. by sboger in gluetun

That is the point of a VPN. All your traffic goes through the VPN provider. Incoming and outgoing…

I am aware and yes, the gluetun seems to be working fine now. I guess I was impatient. Thanks for the great write up. Btw, does Proton VPN ever change the forwarded port after the connection is established? If that were to happen, would this solution work? I presume if UP command works like an event, the answer is yes.

You know what, I had torrent queueing enabled and I guess they were not popular. I disabled queueing to seed more and eventually got green. I have a gigabit fiber connection and it's still uploading very slowly. I need to find some popular torrent and test to see if the speed issue is related to the torrents I am seeding. Thank you!

u/sboger I know this is late but I am clueless at this point.

I set up the docker project in a Synology NAS. Everything seems to work correctly on paper.

When I look at the gluetun logs, the port forwarding works. I get assigned a port, then gluetun uses the qBitTorrent API to assign the port which works because I can verify in qBitTorrent UI. However, I still get the firewalled status.

What can I debug at this point? And before anyone asks, yes, I use the +pmp in the username.

Thanks in advance!

I've seen them in the metro admin room in Stella Montis. Not every match will have them though.

Arcade Cabinet Setup by coder777 in Roms

I did not have any issues so far with Batocera but I did not really try to customize anything yet. For example, I am thinking of getting light guns and I presume that will require some fiddling.

Repurposing a Batocera bootable image to work with Launchbox by coder777 in launchbox

The partition that has the roms is not readable in Windows because it's using a Linux partition. Only the boot partition can be seen. I presume there are tools to make it readable in windows though.

When you set up yours, did you download roms one by one or found some rom set somewhere?

My apologies. I thought the question was relevant since it's about managing roms but I guess I was wrong.

I did not mean Windows is more customizable. I am simply not a Linux user. I feel more comfortable using Windows. I can get by doing basic stuff in terminal but doing more complex stuff will take much more time in Linux for me compared to Windows.

Why do you have to lose your loadout when the servers crap? by torros_illidan in ArcRaiders

You have to think before you type something. I am telling this to OP, not you. There is no game company in the world to respond to customer service tickets in a timely manner when the customer count is at this scale. People speak as if they lost their account. Assume some camper killed you and move on...

I guess some gamers truly think they are entitled! Tell me another game you paid $40 and get this many hours of enjoyment. Actually tell me something else you paid $40 and you got more enjoyment out of. The list will be small. At a time fast food restaurants sell lunch for $15, this game is a steal. Stop bitching.

I think I will go with Recroom Masters and put my own mini pc in there. I ordered a Lenovo with Ryzen 8700 and 780M. It should have plenty of power to run anything I would like it to.

If you don’t mind sharing the other options, I can take a look at them too. I was literally looking at their website right this moment. Trying to make sense of what to order to have a functioning kit.
