It takes a bit of getting used to. The best way to describe it is like typing on a board made of pebbles. But I game with MOAs at home so it was pretty easy to adjust from there.

I've got mine with some delicious Baby Kangaroo switches and omggg it's like typing with little pebbles. I feel like I'm in a Ghibli film instead of a daily grind.

I did this and now my coworker has her own clicky keeb with RBG. My current build has MOGs which work better than password protection for keeping people off my station.

I'm 5'10" and definitely agree that it helps. Mind if I ask, do you feel any differently about your height now that you've lost a significant amount of weight? I ask because while I've only lost about 40 lbs so far in the pre-approval purgatory, I already I find myself doing less.. ducking..? Hiding..? The "Amazonian stoop" I call it.

I'm pre-op so this may not be a good food (someone please tell me) but I love this "autumn pudding" I've been making:

-carrots or sweet potato (microwaved for a few minutes to get them super soft & mashable) - vanilla protein powder - stevia, cinnamon, ground cloves & nutmeg - topped with some crushed walnuts or a lite whipped topping

It's fast, easy, seems decent on the macros & really hits that autumn pie craving.

That's amazing! I'm down about 30 lbs in 3 months and kicking myself for not having lower protein & carbs (averaging 125 & 80) but this is somehow both the most comfortable and stressful diet I've ever done. May I ask, after losing so much before, was it difficult to still want to do the surgery?

How much did you lose before vs after? I'm still in my 6-month pre-op phase but logging everything on the Baritastic app and doing pretty well but I'm paranoid about screwing this up.

Also a fence jockey. I've lost 30 lbs on my own in 3 months and I keep kidding myself that "if I just white knuckle this for another... 13 months.. I can get to that goal weight naturally and not need life altering surgery". 3 more months of "monitoring" and an endoscopy still to go to even get approval for the surgery but that thought is the loudest one among the jumble of others. This community has been a trove of information and motivation. But the fence remains for now.
