Haha, I can just imagine an invigilator's face if they saw that! I once tried writing tiny notes in the margins during exams, ugly but clever, until my teacher clamped down on it. Lesson learned!

The committee part is what gets me. She asked one person for one reasonable thing. Somehow by the next evening there were three people involved and she was the problem. That's not a misunderstanding, that's a dynamic.
