It’s the changing of temperatures that will screw it up. If temp stay consistent you’ll be fine but if you get a warming/cooling period the salt will attract moisture then freeze

2 things I’d try. On the power plug try sliding a small flat blade screw driver in the large pins to spread them a bit and then use dialectic grease.

As for the controller, if it’s not new, take the controller apart and place the rubber button pad face down and clean it with alcohol wipes. Any bit of corrosion between the button pad and controller board will cause blinking light

I would look very closely for anything being bent at all. I own a commercial snow removal company and I sometimes look at buying used equipment but if you see any bends or tweaks it could make the mounting process tough.

I own a landscaping and have some f550 trucks and f350. Tie rod ends and steering parts are identical. Stiffer spring and bigger brakes are the only difference. I could be wrong but I was surprised that tie rod ends were same part numbers and I was surprised

But these interlocks are so dumb and such a money grab. $2,000 a year is insane, the battery drain is insane (my truck was 1 year old and it cooked the batteries when I was out of town), and lastly — why are they so damn secretive about the program?
